Update for Topanga and the Palisades Fire: luckily the fire did not burn Topanga and our home was not affected. Everything in the canyon is open and damage free. There are some burn scars on the mountain, but it makes for quite a view. Topanga Canyon Boulevard from Topanga Lumber Yard going down to the beach / pacific coast highway is open from 5 am to midnight.
