Fantastic accommodation exactly as described. 5 min walk to bars/restaurants & shops. Lovely comfy beds with immaculate linen. Wish we could have stayed longer than the one night Will definitely stay again if visiting Mudgee. I highly recommend this 5* accommodation.

Like previous reviews, Haywards Cottage is a gorgeous step back in time but with all the necessities to make for a truly relaxing stay. The property itself is huge with gorgeous gardens and we loved sitting on the front verandah in the sunshine with a glass of wine. Sharon is lovely and we appreciated the early check in. A block from Rylstone Main Street so walkable to cafes, pubs and restaurants. Thanks Sharon, we had a lovely stay.

Thank you for such a beautiful place to call home! The home was so gorgeous, and decorated perfectly. It was warm and cozy and the indoor fireplace was perfect. We took two gorgeous pampered pooches, and although they were out with us all day and evening, they loved the backyard when we returned. Thank you for a beautiful place to land

We had a beautiful stay at Nicole's place. It was very clean and comfortable. The entire home is beautifully furnished and the beds were very comfortable. Location is great. just a 5 minute walk from the township of Gulgong and the history museums. We also really enjoyed the peaceful outdoor area and barbecue. I absolutely recommend Nicole's place!

We had an amazing stay at Margaret’s place! The house was incredibly clean. The garden was super spacious and extremely well-maintained. The location was also fantastic, close to town centre and several great restaurants. Margaret was a wonderful host, and we appreciated her detailed welcome pack. Highly recommend!

Staying at Marsimbet Cottage felt like staying at a friend's place - a musical friend with great taste in books, who supports the same AFL team. 😄 The cottage was cosy but also allowed our family of four space to retreat from one other. It was great being easy walking distance from everything too. Paul was friendly and communicative and we really appreciated the chance to check in early.

Our family of four and doggo thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thistle Hill. So much so we didn’t want to leave at the end of our week there. Cam and Carmen have created a peaceful haven at Thistle Hill with an immaculately decorated home and amenities that help you to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. They even left us wine, fresh eggs, sourdough, yoghurt, granola, marmalade and everything we needed for a delicious breakfast the morning after our arrival. They were excellent to communicate with and had detailed instructions and guides for the surrounding areas. I could not recommend Thistle Hill enough, we would love to come back again soon.

Great place to stay. Great location, so close to everything in town. It had everything we needed, and we loved the fact that it was dog friendly - our pup had a great time. Stacey was wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Great stay , the location is perfect (actually right next door to a winery on our list) Check in was easy and the Church was clean and comfortable and made us feel welcome when we entered the door. Ours was only an overnight stay but could stay longer. Communication was excellent. Make sure you use apple maps and not google maps to get there (even with the suburb name google let us astray but it only took 5-10 minutes to double back) , and double check with Gina's instructions)

The property was great! Pool is the star, kids loved to spend time there. Ingrid is a great host, very responsive for any questions during pre-arrival. Bear the dog is super friendly. The location of the property is also convinient as it is only 5 mins drive to the town. Overall i give 5 out of 5. Definitely recommend this place for anyone wants to visit and stay a few nights in Mudgee

We stayed at Tamara’s property and had a wonderful time. Location is private and quiet but close enough to drive to town if need be. House was very clean and aesthetically beautiful, and all the amenities worked well. Absolutely would spend time there again!

Absolutely beautiful surrounds, very spacious house and grounds, well equipped and thoughtfully decorated. For the capacity, the house is large with lots of seating and dining areas to choose from. Great pool and pool table was a good addition. Great space for dog. Would definitely plan to return.

Carla’s cottage was so beautiful and the surroundings are just gorgeous. It was private, quiet, and a lovely escape with nature. We loved the character of the cottage and it had everything we needed. Thank you.

We had an amazing time at Kurrajong cottage. The cottage was beautiful and well equipped, and the surrounding serene but still a close drive to all wineries and sights. We brought our dog and Diana made all of us feel right at home. We hope to be back soon.

Rob’s place is perfect for someone who’s looking for a tranquil and quiet home off-the-grid. If you want to go on an online detox, this is the place to be. There is no reception inside the house but a few steps from it, you could acccess Rob’s wifi if you need it urgently. The surroundings and the whole farm is fantastic, you wake up to kangaroos and hares running around everywhere. My husband even had a run around the property and it was nice. The couple were very helpful to us and gave useful local recommendations on where to go. The interiors of the house made us feel like we were in a different country, we loved the vibe. Recommended as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Amazing house, spacious and very well organised. Plenty of entertainment space indoor and outdoors. Enjoyed our Easter weekend there with friends and had the best time.

A perfect country get away for the family and pets. The location is close to wineries and Mudgee centre with walks and plenty to do nearby. The accommodation is great and in such a special spot with gorgeous sunsets and a fantastic fire pit! Excellent communication from the host as well. We will be back!

The views really are spectacular! So lovely to be above the town, just far enough removed to enjoy the peace, but a few minutes away from all the amenities. A great stay - we will be back!
