Murray : locations de vacances

We were looking for a relaxing place to stay with our kids and pups for a few days. The House On The Rocks did not disappoint. We had plenty of space and the kids loved playing on the boulders. Beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed. The gated deck was perfect when we needed to corral dogs and kids. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. There was no cell service but I was glad to be unreachable for a few days (especially with a house phone for emergencies). The views were beautiful and we had spectacular stargazing. There is a 2-lane highway close by so noise from traffic is a factor at times, but the house had a lot of fans which helped provide some white noise. We really had everything we needed at the cabin. Will definitely stay here again!

The house and land were perfect for our little family get away. The land and privacy was lovely and our dog absolutely loved exploring. The house is a ways from any shopping so no quick runs to the store for something you forgot. We spent the days exploring and returned in the evenings for dinner and family time. We were able to make many dinners in the stocked kitchen, s’mores in the fire pit, and had excellent views of the night sky. Lots of little touches to help you feel at home. I would recommend staying at Amy’s!!

This was a great place for the size of our family! Two for the price of one! Everything was perfectly described and we had everything we needed! We didn’t want our time to end here! Thank you for allowing us to stay for our family Easter weekend.

Beautiful views and private. The cabin is as described and comfortable to stay in. There are many hiking trails close and the area is beautiful. Jasper is so close if you need anything you forgot. Bring your drinking water unless you’re used to drinking well water with sulphur. Josefine was always responsive and we were so happy with our stay at the cabin. Lots of wildlife to watch from the porch or fire pit.

Such a great cabin! We have stayed here many times and always love to come back! Great location to all there is to do at the Buffalo River Area!

Our stay at Misty Bluff was everything we hoped for and more. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The views were absolutely breathtaking, we spent hours on both balconies, just soaking it all in. With tons of amazing hiking trails nearby, it was easy to get out and explore something new each day. We also loved how the cabin felt peaceful and secluded, even though it was conveniently close to Hwy 7. Our dog had the time of his life, sniffing around the yard, joining us on the trails, and lounging on the balcony enjoying the breeze and the view. Karla was always quick to respond and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Stayed 3 nights at Billy Goats Gruff. 5 of us. This cabin was spotless and oh so cute! They've done a beautiful job updating. We had everything we needed: plenty of towels, blankets, cookware, spices, firewood, farm fresh eggs, games, to name a few. Note that Bedrooms are upstairs and bathrooms are on main level. There's the most adorable pantry with a coffee pod machine, microwave and lots of items you might need while staying. The 2 Great Pyrenees pups are the sweetest and love giving kisses. They do respond to commands of "no" and "stay down". They will lounge on the porch and be aware they start barking verrry early in the morning. The the shop where the son lives is fairly close to the house . Goats and chickens roam freely but are not intrusive. We loved playing Cornhole and roasting marshmallows in the firepit. They have folding camp chairs to sit around the fire and a picnic table. I would recommend a high clearance vehicle with good traction. Its 11 minutes from Jasper.

Home was well cared for with amenities of all sorts available. The only issue we really had was every room was infested with lady bugs. We vacuumed what we could but they kept coming out. Guess they wanted to give good luck. Kids enjoyed the s’mores provided for fire pit just needed dry fire wood. They also enjoyed the “cave” in the bunk bedroom which was a closet with a vent cover they could see whom was walking up and down the stairs. Kathy had a ton of information in the home for things to do for week and very responsive to any questions. We about froze first night upstairs but she was quick to let us know to check vents in floor behind doors. Kitchen had more than normal ware to use for cooking and plenty of cleaning supplies to keep tidy. Lots of hiking and site seeing within 40 minutes of cabin. Highly recommend Jasper area as eat lunch at ozark Cafe and saw “Santa” at the court house gazebo putting up the Christmas tree Fun trip overall.

Definitely a must if you’re looking for the cabin in the woods. Wish we could have enjoyed it more but we got there late on a Friday night. We were out early riding our SxS all day and didn’t get back until dark. Would stay here again!!!
