Kumar’s place was fabulous. Jaya (house keeper) was such an amazing help, simply made our stay luxurious. Tuan (manager) was very responsive and helped with arranging everything.

We had a stay for 10 days and we were provided with a neat and clean room with all amenities. - Tea and Coffee sachets along with sugar tissues, Cutlery and even more. - You can use kitchen and washing machine with no restrictions. - In Room you have Iron, Cupboard, AC, Kettle, Drying stand, King size bed, study table and one more big table. - Neat and clean bathroom with shampoo, body wash and tooth paste. - Grocery store and launadary in apartment. - Big swimming pool and swimming pool for kids. Attractions - Apartment is adjacent to saravanamuttu cricket stadium, you can have a view from the apartment. The thing I liked about host is the prompt reply, solution to the things, trust.and friendly behaviour.

Wir waren 11 Tage im Chauncy und es hat uns bestens gefallen. Neben dem Frühstück kann man auch Abendessen bekommen, für einen sehr fairen Preis. Das Essen hat uns immer gut geschmeckt und wird auf der zum Appartment gehörigen, großen Terrasse serviert. Die überdachte Terrasse ist geräumig und sehr einladend. Malsha und ihre Tante Sandah mit Ehemann Sangka haben sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert, waren für alle Fragen und Wünsche offen, zeigten eine sehr angenehme Gastfreundschaft. Wir haben die aircon ausprobiert, aber man braucht sie nicht wirklich. Alles in allem ein gelungener und angenehmer Aufenthalt, in wenigen Minuten ist man an der Beachroad, wo es vom Supermarkt bis hin zur laundry (Jude Street, wo auch das gleichnamige Lokal ist) alles gibt. Es gäbe sogar eine Waschmaschine im Chauncy, aber für 500 LKR per Kilo haben wir lieber waschen lassen. Wir empfehlen einen Aufenthalt wärmstens, im Chauncy ist man als Gast bestens aufgehoben und wird herzlich + freundlich umsorgt.

The best location to relax before or after a long flight. Relaxing by the pool was exactly what we needed. Thanks to Mahinda for making our stay very beautiful. We will come again, no doubts!!

It’s a very nice place to stay. Quiet surroundings, big rooms, place for sitting outside and everything you might need is here. The family lives nearby and is very nice and helpful. The beach is a short walk away. I would highly recommend this place.
