We really enjoyed staying at this cottage with our dog. The property was fun to explore and it was nice for some off grid time. Would recommend staying here!

Alycia and her Mum Liz have captured the old farm home of our childhood that our grandparents live in, it was nice to step back in to the past. Very unique, and tastefully done. The only downside for us was the noisy highway, but we got use to it.

Such a beautiful home and great location. Mark was very hospitable and friendly, made our stay super easy. The house had everything we needed and within close distance to shops etc. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a little getaway in Toowoomba.

Wonderful little place for a couples getaway. Lots of carefully considered details, like binoculars! So peaceful waking up to the beautiful surroundings and surprised at how far the battery went. Was great to have instructions to download the app to keep an eye on the charge which was always up high! Would definitely stay here again ☺️

Our stay at Hillview was absolutely amazing. The views were spectacular. The accomodation was cozy and comfortable. Our time there was so restful and refreshing to the soul. The host…just wow!…Julie went over and above making our stay one we won’t forget. She is an amazing person with some amazing life stories. Oh and even when we opened the fridge, we found fruit, fresh farm eggs and also some bacon…along with so much more. The BBQ grill did a fantastic job of producing mouth watering steaks. All I can say is that there is something special about the Hillview property and Julie, the host. Hope to return and experience the country life again. (Oh by the way, loved seeing the baby lambs!)

We had a great stay. Peter and Lexie are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us warmly and we felt straight away like at home. Their place is quiet, in a beautiful location. The views are to die for. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a quiet weekend away from a busy lifestyle. Our dog had the best time running around in the big yard. The place has everything we needed and we loved the beautiful touches, thank you for the Easter bunny, the hot cross buns, breakfast provided and doggie treats. We are grateful and enjoyed Peter’s local recommendations going to see the local steam train and its 110th birthday and Toowoomba’s beautiful gardens. Everything was just a short drive away. Thank you for a great weekend away. We can’t recommend Peter’s and Lexie’s place enough and we are sure we will be back.

Lovely location on a working farm (Australian stock horse breeders) with friendly dogs, beautiful horses, and superb hosts Amanda & Peter. Peter’s cooked breakfast and homemade jams and passion fruit butter on fresh made bread sitting chatting on their front veranda is a perfect way to start the day. We learnt so much about the horses and the sport of Polo X as well as spending time with the little foal Evie. Amanda and Peter were very generous with their time and hospitality which my teenage daughter and I enjoyed. During the day we hiked in the Scenic Rim and kayaked nearby on the Brisbane River with the cute nearby town of Rosewood offering a good variety of cafes and good dinner options not far away at Phatz Boyz.

Would stay here a million times over we were so relaxed and not to mention the animals loved having a visitor daily from the beautiful dog and the goats were cute. Damen and his wife were very accommodating and so fast with their response time.. Can not recommend this enough it’s definitely worth staying at so much that you will never want to leave 🥰
