Relax in your private sauna or bathtub with a view, take a Viking dip in the icy sea, hike forests and mountains, enjoy self-caught fish for dinner, watch storms roll in or stargaze by the bonfire.

This seaside property is one of the few homes directly by the water in this region. It offers a perfect setting for relaxation, taking in the stunning views from the house or the sauna. It also serves as an ideal base for sightseeing, hiking, swimming, or fishing in the fjord or nearby river. A Whycation is about traveling with a clear purpose or “why”. You'll get whats in it here. Cottage of about 60 square meters with 2 bedrooms plus loft. Own kitchen with crockery. The cottage is in a peaceful area with 3 other cabins. The chalet is at the end of a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.

Calm Fjord House by Mt. Hornelen

Welcome to "Aunt Hanna`s house". This house in natural surroundings offers you peace and quiet. On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the house. The house is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff, and with a direct view to Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. We have 2 kayaks. 1 canoe, motor boat, fishing rods and 2 SUP board for rent if available and on request.

Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located at Lote, in Western Norway, at an elevation of 270 metres above sea level. With one of Norway’s most breathtaking views of fjords and mountains, you’ll experience a true sense of quiet luxury and a calm, relaxing stay. While you relax in the comfortable cabin, you might be lucky enough to spot deer grazing and eagles soaring just outside the window. The surrounding area offers plenty to do, surrounded by the landscapes Western Norway is known for.

På denne plassen bur du i toppen av frukthagen på garden Påldtun. Her kan du nyte ei fin utsikt over fjord og fjell. Det er kort veg til brygga. Her kan du leige båt og sauna eller ta deg eit morgenbad. Du vil oppleve livet på bygda med beitande dyr og arbeid som foregår i sesongen. Jølet! Tenk å ligge svevande over bakken på ei seng av brusande vatn med stjerner i augo! Det er akkurat det du kan oppleve i Jølet, hytta som er spesialdesigna for å gje ein optimal følelse av nærleik til naturen. På kanten av eit jøl, skapt av elva sitt tusenårige strev for å nå fjorden, svevar hytta delvis i terrenget. Liggande heilt for seg sjølv utan nære naboar, men med utsikt over kulturlandskap og bygdelag, er dette ein perfekt stad både for avslapping og aktivitet.
