Lundi Cottage is one of the Múlafossur Cottages located by the world-renown waterfall in the village Gásadalur on the Faroe Islands. It is only a 10-20min drive from the only airport on the islands, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn/Leitisvatn. We promise a truly magical and secluded place, with sights of sheep, birds and highland cows - all nestled by the river that leads down to the waterfall.

The longest distance by car is approximately 1 hour's drive. 6 of the islands are connected by tunnels and bridges. It is about 15 min to Tórshavn through the new underwater tunnel. Cozy cabin sitting in the small valley Vesturi í Dal, with the river Gjógvará running just by. The location offers a wonderful natural playground for children, the peace and quiet that only nature has to offer, all while being within a couple of kilometers of shops, resturant, bar, cultural house and information office.

Older very cozy small house in the great nature area in the village of Haldarsvík. The house is next to a river, the local church and a small beach. The spectacular Fossá is only a walk of less then 3 km away. By car there are 5 minutes to Tjørnuvík and less then 45 minutes to Tórshavn.

The house is very old. Originally the house was half the size it is today, only around 15m2. In 1884 they built it bigger, around 29m2. Nobody knows how old the original house is. People have been living in the small village of Tjørnuvík for thousand years.
