Angela is really an amazing lady, providing welcome gifts,plus tea, coffee and fresh milk. great after a long journey cuppa and feet up. we would like to keep this a secret but it's too perfect for anyone to missout on. nook up you won't be disappointed

Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

Adrian was such a friendly and approachable host. Was extremely helpful in ensuring I had breakfast outside of the breakfast time. As a lone guest he really made me feel at ease. Really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again.

Sharon accommodated us very last minute & made us feel very welcome throughout our 5 day stay. The accommodation is quite small, but the location is really lovely, on the edge of the Peak District. Lots of walks and lovely pubs nearby.

We usually stay in a hotel when we visit our son in Nottingham- but not anymore now I’ve discovered Rob and Jo’s place- slept so well and am usually a really light sleeper so that was a real plus. The garden house was spotless and lovely and warm despite it being below freezing outside. Rob and Jo are lovely people who made us feel very welcome. The breakfast bits were an extra treat- all so calm and quiet. Will definitely be back and would recommend 100%. Thank you so much!!

Het is een geweldig huisje, brandschoon en rustig gelegen aan de rand van Buxton., Marie is een fantastische gastvrouw; heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vanuit het huisje zijn er meerdere routes te bewandelen, naar mooie dalen, idyllische heuvels en het charmante Buxton. Op loopafstand bevindt zich een nieuwe supermarkt. Ik kom zeker nog eens terug!

The accommodation is set in a lovely, peaceful village. The accommodation itself had everything we needed. Many walks are nearby, within a reasonable driving distance. It was also extremely helpful having access to the garden for the dog. Would stay again.

Another wonderful stay at Alicia beautiful and well appointed barn conversion. As before the property was presented immaculately and had everything we required for a wonderful stay with our cocker spaniel.

Stunning property that was tucked away and felt very private. Close to lots of walking routes and an easy drive to lots of nice restaurants. Elaine provided very detailed instructions on how to arrive which were very helpful and there was lots of information in the accomodation about local amenities. We loved our visit, Elaine was an excellent host and we would highly recommend this property

Once again had a lovely stay in Tracey’s garden annex As always everything first class ! Tracey is a very approachable lady and responsive and friendly. She keeps the annex beautifully clean and the surrounding garden is well tended tidy and colourful !! Look forward to returning each time we stay ! Thankyou Tracey Sheila Cosford

The Pudding Stop is in a great location, close to the town centre where there are great cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops. Katie and John are lovely hosts, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is very clean, exactly as described and just what you need for your stay. There are lots of great walks from the doorstep and some lovely places just a short drive away. We highly recommend The Pudding Stop and Bakewell, we will be back to explore further.

Donna’s place was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful, scenic location. Donna is an excellent host and was incredibly helpful! On arrival at the cottage there’s nothing she hasn’t got covered and is only a message away if there’s anything you need! We will definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time! This space was exactly what we were after for a long weekend in the Peak District. The place was beautifully decorated, had every amenity we needed in the kitchen and bathroom (including jams, honey, oats), and Justin provided us with the most thorough and detailed welcome pack we'd seen. Also, SO grateful for blackout curtains and LOVED the hammock and swinging chair to relax in the sun at the end of the day. Thanks so much Justin, would definitely recommend 😊

Had an absolutely lovely stay. The cottage was incredibly clean and cozy. We had a few lovely nights where we chose to watch tv and not go out at all! The cottage was very well stocked and we felt right at home. Linens were spotless and there was great water pressure and heat. The hosts were very sweet and caring. Could not recommend this cozy place enough.

A beautiful property in the most peaceful of locations - being in the garden, surrounded by countryside and the sound of birds tweeting brought the tranquility that we needed. The property itself was perfect, it had everything we needed and suited its surroundings perfectly. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the en-suites were a great addition! The upstairs showers were insane! The lemon drizzle cake (my mum’s favourite) and the doggy supplies were a lovely touch from Matt - snuggling up on the sofa with a cup of tea and sweet treats was the icing on the cake.

The whole place was spotlessly clean and everything supplied was of a high standard. The eggs, bacon, bread, orange, milk and butter along with tea, coffee , biscuits and cereal provided meant we didn’t have to nip out to the shops to buy anything or bring those items with us. We enjoyed the whirlpool bath and the log burner in the evening and loved all the attention to detail with the lighting . The view was beautiful and garden and outdoor seating were an added feature. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.

We have just left from a lovely 2 night stay, it’s a beautiful quirky place. A great place for an adult weekend away! The decor is fantastic, the bar area and games room is brilliant, lovely area, relaxing garden and views! Hot tub was lovely! Cosy cinema room and lots of information on nearby places to visit etc! We was so lucky with the weather too which made it even better! But the place in general was just brilliant! We would definitely stay again! Daniel was quick as responding to any questions. Thank you for a lovely stay! ☺️

The loveliest of hosts. Rachel was very friendly and very helpful, leaving a postcard with kind words and recommendations and a small gift basket. The bnb was very cosy and spotless, and dare I say better than the photos. We were even welcomed with a sign which reassured us that we were at the right place. The location was perfect with a 10 min drive to Castleton and 20-30 mins to other places like Bakewell, Buxton and Sheffield. All amenities needed were provided, the shower temperature and pressure were of no issue, providing a great morning shower. It was nice just waking up and leaving to see (and hear) the sheep (even though they stare a little 😂). I can’t fault the place, and couldn’t recommend anymore. 6/5 stars. My only comment would be that we found it a little difficult to find at first and actually stumbled on it by accident. Thank you very much!
