We liked the apartment, lots of open space, natural lights, and a big terrace! The host was very responsive. It has all the amenities and appliances we needed except an in-unit washer. But the host provided the laundry service. Overall, a good place to stay!

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Payong House in Gangtok during our family vacation. The homestay was extremely comfortable, clean, and truly family- and kid-friendly. The food served was tasty and homely, which made us feel well taken care of. The location was also very convenient for exploring Gangtok. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for families visiting Gangtok!

Nice peaceful place with nice car parking. Rooms are good feel like own home.. Clean and all facilities available..

Diksha's place was clean and spacious. The rooms were big and we felt really comfortable. Both the rooms have AC and one of the rooms have a TV. Diksha was very helpful and gave us clear instructions about the location. It can be easily found on Google Maps. There are many butcher and grocery shops nearby. Everything is readily available- from e rickshaws to fruits. We were very happy and wish to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well looked after. But what truly made the experience special was the support and kindness shown by the property owners. They’re genuinely lovely people—professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful in every way. Any issues that came up were handled swiftly and with real care. What made it even better is that they felt like one of us. Being from the UK ourselves, it was comforting to deal with people who understood our values, our way of doing things, and who made us feel right at home—like a proper family-type experience. Highly recommended, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Check in was very smooth. Fully satisfy with their service specially their 3 x meals, laundry and cleaning facilities. Very neat and clean space also well organized household equipments. Hope I will stay again in future.

I traveled with my parents, husband and kids (4.5 and 3). The moment we entered the place, it felt like home. We were familiar with the locality as we had already lived in the city earlier (my parents for 34 years and me 25 years). We intended to spend a lot of time at the property and just soak in the air of Shillong, and that was possible because the home provided us with enough space and facilities we could ask for. Dad loved the early morning sunlight on the terrace and did his exercises there. Kids loved the space inside and outside and played their hearts out. Kitchen and washing machine made our lives so much easier. Marc's caretaker was available to help us out with whatever we needed. The property is very old (traditional Assam cottage), and hence requires a slightly better maintenance. There are tiny bits all over the place that need some attention, but I suppose that a renovation is already in plan. Thanks for helping me create new memories with my kids!

Amazing place to stay, work and chill. Very accessible, excellent neighbourhood and one of best put together with good wifi coverage a fully equipped kitchen. Definitely top recommendation specially if you want a place from where you can work as well

Roadhouse Paradiso is a very nice and peaceful apartment to stay at if you are visiting Guwahati. The place is conveniently located near GS road and has really nice decor so its perfectly suited if someone wants to stay in or visit the main markets of Guwahati. It is located however on the 2nd floor of a building with no access to an elevator so elderly guests might have an issue but if you dont mind the climb its a great place to stay at.

Same as the pictures shown.... Stay was very comfortable and the host was really warm.. also they had netflix subscription to chill on your room... Best for friends trip and family trip

Down to our last breath along our stay, it was very peaceful....very comfortable & remarkable stay, awesome ambiance and extremely helpful and kind host. Every amenities were clean, never felt like we are staying at an Airbnb, it felt more like home. Very open minded and always ready to help host with an awesome response time. Smooth check-in and check-out, very quite environment, well lit rooms and had many decors with ambient lightings too. Basically an awesome stay to take a breather away from the commotion of Kolkata's city life.

Its a old Asamese bunglow style building with modern amenities. A perfect blend of AC, cricket sounds, birds whistle and Swiggy delivery. Have visited for business purpose. Wish to visit again

The place was neat and clean. the caretaker and the owner were responsive. It looked like the photos. The locality is bland though. The place is located at the edge of a closed street, not very far from the main road though. Mosquitoes but owner provides 'All Outs' for all rooms.

one of the most bang for buck BNBs in kolkata. hosts are extremely friendly and the check in experience is smooth as well. the area is fine and pretty walkable as well. perfect for a weekend with friends. would recommend.

This was our second stay in Lagoon Retreat in two years and the stay there was truly wonderful once again. Pankaj is a great host. He was very attentive to details and ensured that my family had a pleasant and comfortable time in Lagoon. Though there are many restaurants close by that we could visit or order food delivery due to Lagoon’s convenient location, we needed to have home cooked food for one member of our family who had dietary restrictions. Pankaj arranged for a cook in this regard. Pankaj also stopped by to chat with us many times during our stay and we had many fun and enjoyable conversations with him. He has become a friend.

Beautiful, fresh rooftop studio in a quiet lane just off the happening main road. Wonderful view over a lot of Shillong from the terrace. Communication was great and the hosts provided simple breakfast ingredients, which was an appreciated plus. Would definitely like to stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at Arindrajit’s place. He was warm, attentive, and quick to respond to any queries, ensuring we felt comfortable throughout. The flat is situated in a safe and secure gated community. It was exactly as described in the photos and listing—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The location is incredibly convenient for exploring activities in and around the EM Bypass. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again!

On the first night of our arrival there was a mix up and Dev said, "These apartments are not just my business, but my passion." Every other day we spent, he proved his statement. The place was clean, as they were tended to on a daily basis. All the queries were answered by the hosts asap. All the utensils were in good shape. The rooms are exactly as shown in the images. There was a medical shop and market just 10 steps away from the place. This was my first booking through Airbnb and I would like to thank both Dev and his wife for making it effortless.
