My place is 10 minutes from downtown La Crosse, close to the airport, but you'll feel a world away. You’ll love my place because of the peace and quiet, but mostly THE VIEWS. All the modern conveniences of dishwasher, microwave, shower and stove/fridge, washer & dryer. You'll never see the same sunset! My place is good for two people or solo adventurers.Full list of amenities available, but worth noting here that coffee is NOT provided. There is a drip coffee maker, as well as a spot for kpods.

Go trout fishing, walk or ride the Omaha Trail Tunnel, Elroy- Sparta Trail, or the 400 Trail. Necedah Wildlife Refuge, Buckhorn, Castle Rock, Wisconsin Dells, Amish scenic drive, and Wildcat State Park with canoeing down the Kickapoo River are all within 30 minutes.

Straw Clay Cabin on a Sustainable Farm

This Earthen house is made of sand, straw and clay. Nestled in a valley it is a peaceful and unique getaway. The cabin has four comfortable single beds and electricity, a wood stove for winter. Outside a fire pit and grill. A hand washing sink inside; and port-o-let toilet outside. You may be able to drive in (weather/road condition depending). We are in between Ontario and Cashton, off of Hwy 33. Over looking the Amish farms below. There are fairs and festivals many with tractor pulls nearby. Warrens cranberry festival and the Dells are nearby.

Our Cabin is located in the Heart of Amish Country on 44 Acres. (maps for Amish tours located in the cupboard) We have Wild Cat Mountain State Park, 4 miles away for horseback riding, hiking trails, and a scenic overlook. As well as the Kickapoo Wild Life Reserve in Lafarge. There is Canoe, Kayak and tubing rentals at the Kickapoo River 3 miles away. Elroy-Sparta Bike trail is about 15 miles away. We are located off of Highway 33 between Cashton and Ontario WI.
