Our cabin sits in a quiet cedar grove by a fishing pond with kayaks and fishing poles available. 2 bedrooms with full kitchen with coffee maker, washer and dryer, fireplace, internet, TV and 2 porches with patio furniture and large umbrellas. Electric and gas grills available with outdoor sink for cleaning fish. Attached to hobby farm with goats, ducks, geese, and chickens. More than 50 acres available to roam with 4 ponds. Located near the historic square in Washington, Georgia. The square is easily walkable for shopping, antiquing and dining. History is just down the street with notable buildings including the Mary Wills library (complete with Tiffany windows), the Robert Toombs House, the Washington Historical Museum and the Kettle Creek battlefield. Just a short drive from Athens or Augusta if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay after a game or making your way to the Master’s tournament.

Renovated 1928 cottage on a former asylum campus

Into the macabre? Stay on the campus of what once was the largest mental asylum in the world. Stay in a fully renovated craftsman, 1920's cottage situated on the corner of a large pecan grove, across from the Central State Hospital infirmary. Walking, driving or trolly tours are available to learn all about the history of one of the nation's oldest and largest institutions for the mentally ill. Note: Buildings are closed to the public. There are no tours inside buildings.

The Nest, Charming Country Setting south of Athens

This guest suite is located above the detached three car garage across from the main house. Beautiful views of the countryside, including horses and chickens! Sanford Stadium and beautiful downtown Athens are just 14 miles north of us (a 22 minute drive). Historic Madison is 19 miles to the south of us. You are welcome to fish or kayak on our pond as well. Come stay with us! We do have a no-pet policy and a no-smoking policy. Thank you for respecting our space.

191 Country Place Drive, Keysville. The view from Mimosa Cottage is pure country: hay fields, sunsets, woods, birds, and friendly neighbors. The entire house is yours to enjoy. The Wagon Barn Market close by has "ready to bake" casseroles. Augusta, 20 minutes away, hosts The Masters Golf Tournament in the spring, and has biking & hiking trails, kayaking, museums, and more. Walmart is 5 minutes away the other direction in Waynesboro.
