Shiomi House Island Village Hostel (Oku Room)

Sashima is a tiny island with only about 400 residents. Even within the Shimanami Kaido area, life moves at an especially unhurried island pace. Our house is a classic farmhouse plan in this area, rooms are separated by fusuma (papered sliding screens). You’ll stay in the Oku room with a tokonoma (alcove). Linger on the engawa (veranda) and watch the garden, take a stroll along the shore. The sunsets are spectacular. Enjoy a taste of island life in a nostalgic traditional Japanese house.

Our house is a classic farmhouse in this area, with rooms separated by fusuma (papered sliding screens). You’ll stay in the Omote room, just to the left of the entrance. Linger on the engawa (veranda) and watch the garden, or stroll along the shore. The sunsets are spectacular. Enjoy a taste of island life in a nostalgic traditional Japanese house.

瀬戸内海 ゆめしま海道 ゲストハウスみちしお

This is a guesthouse located in Yugeshima, Kamishima, on the Seto Inland Sea, on the border of Ehime and Hiroshima prefectures. Reservations here are for "renting the entire building" only. It has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 people. You can freely use the living room, kitchen, two toilets, bathroom, and bicycle garage. From the rooms on the second floor, you can see the strait with Innoshima. The guesthouse has two bicycles available for rent for 1,000 yen per day.

Guest house tokonoma/A cozy classic Japanese house

Yuge-island is only a few hundred meters away from Innoshima-island, which Shimanami-Kaido passes. You will feel a very relaxed atmosphere from the moment when you step on this island. Guest house tokonoma is a small accommodation which is a renovated old Japanese style house. We have 3 Japanese style bed rooms, kitchen, and living room. You will sleep in Futon-mattress which has laid on brand new Tatami. 5minutes walk from super markets and restaurants.

A private guesthouse filled with bicycles

Located on Iwagi Island in Kamijima, a town of 25 remote islands in northern Ehime, this renovated 50-year-old traditional house offers a peaceful island escape. Moved by the nature, food, and warmth of the locals, we created a space where cyclists can truly relax. Surrounded by calm seas and birdsong, it’s the perfect place to slow down. A café and bike shop will open in 2026. Come take a little “Yorimichi”—a scenic detour—on your cycling journey.

"しまなみ海道"の中間地点・生口島の高台にある、民家を改装した宿泊施設です。窓からは穏やかな瀬戸内海を望めます。Fritz Hansenの椅子とコーヒーテーブル、Carl Hansen & Sønのダイニングテーブル・チェア、イサム・ノグチの照明、Simmonsのマットレス etc...、インテリアにこだわった一軒家です。大きなバスタブもあるので、サイクリングの疲れを癒すのにピッタリです。 旅館業の許可を取得し、安心・安全に運営しています。建物面積は72平米、敷地面積は300平米のゆったりした造りです。 街の喧騒から外れた静かなエリアで、周りに商店やコンビニなどがないため、必要なものは事前にご用意いただくことをおすすめします（徒歩13分の場所に"びっくろうど"というお好み焼き屋さんがあります）。 運が良ければ、日本の国鳥"キジ"を見つけることができます。

Sashima is the most relaxing island around Shimanami Kaido. Four rooms are separated with fusuma (Japanese wood and paper door without key) and can be used flexibly. Both rooms face the courtyard, and you can relax on the Engawa, an old-styled wooden veranda. Enjoy island life in a Japanese classical house.

しまなみ海道の通る因島のちょっと脇、フェリーでしか渡れない愛媛県の離島　弓削島（ゆげしま）の中心部に位置する古民家の１室です。 お部屋の広さは８畳プラス床の間。 エアコン、Wi-Fi完備。 共用のキッチンはどうぞご自由にお使い下さい。 スーパーや居酒屋さんなどの飲食店は全て徒歩圏内です。 同じ建物内の他のお部屋にお泊りのお客様がいらっしゃる場合もございますので、その点ご了承お願い申し上げます。 橋で本土と繋がっていない離島ならではのゆったりとした時間の流れを感じていただき、どうぞごゆっくりとお寛ぎ下さいませ。

瀬戸内海 ゆめしま海道 ゲストハウスみちしお（ツインルーム個室）

瀬戸内海、愛媛県と広島県の県境に位置する上島町・弓削島にあるゲストハウスです。こちらでの予約は「ツインルームの個室」のみとしています。寝室のほか、リビング、キッチン、2つのトイレ、浴室、自転車用ガレージを自由に使うことができます。1階の部屋には、自転車を持ち込むことができます。2階の部屋からは、因島との海峡が見えます。1日1台あたり1,000円で電動アシスト付自転車を貸し出しいたします。ご希望があれば、私の飼っているヤギとのお散歩をアレンジいたします。

瀬戸内海の真ん中に浮かぶ弓削島の中心部に位置する、古い民家を改装したゲストハウスです。 スーパーやレストラン、港にも程近く、大変便利な立地です。 ご利用いただくのは６畳の和室になります。 同じ建物内に、他に２部屋ドミトリールームとして販売しているお部屋がございます。 弓削島はしまなみ海道の通る因島からわずか数百メートルの距離ですが、橋の掛かっていない離島ならではの、ゆったりとした時間の流れを感じていただけるかと存じます。
