SNOEKSTRAAT - Strandfontein Beach House

This beautiful house is situated in a cul-de-sac in the small westcoast town of Strandfontein in the Matzikama Region of Namakwaland, South Africa. It has a direct view and access to the beach and is approximately 50 metres from the town's only shop and restaurant. Three rooms sleep 6 - 7 adults and can easily accomodate 3 couples or two couples with children. Parking is at the back. A large "Stoep" (patio) with barbeque area allows guests to enjoy the outdoors right through the day.

The southern shoreline again is rugged with beautiful steep cliffs and thundering water. There are beautiful cycling paths and should you choose to visit during the flower season in Spring, you will be cycling through fields of colorful, indigenous flowers and other plants.

Thornbay Accommodation is the prime accommodation in Doringbaai, a small town in Southern Namaqualand, West Coast of South Africa. All our apartments are individual and are fully equipped for self catering. (Just bring your beach towel, your food and toiletries). This loft has character situated on a working farm,great place to go fishing. Best suited for a couple, but we can accommodate 1 child on the sleeper couch. Beautiful serene spot with privacy. The Art house accommodation in Bitterfontein is a 100 + year old cob house filled with collectables and local art, preserves and books. It has a lovely indigenous garden full of succulents and 28 bird species. And lovely to gaze at the stars or just relax.
