We are a 5 - 10 minute walk from the town centre with it's unique local shops and cafes, St Magnus Cathedral, Earl's Palace and Museum. For the whisky lovers we are a short walk from the famous Highland Park Distillery . We are a 5 minute walk from the new Balfour Hospital and Health Centre complex. We love meeting people and welcome guests from all backgrounds into our home.

On the outskirts of the historic town of Stromness in the West Mainland of Orkney, this single-story barn conversion has one bedroom, an open-plan living/dining/kitchen space, and a bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. All on one level, the property is wheelchair accessible throughout. It has stunning views across Hoy Sound and out to the open Atlantic. Parking is available right outside, but if you visit without a car, regular buses from Stromness go to all areas of Orkney.

A very warm welcome to Graemeshall House. Dating back to 1626, this former home to the Lairds of Graemeshall now offers luxurious Bed and Breakfast accommodation in an idyllic setting. The property has just been renovated to a very high standard. During a Royal Visit to Orkney in 1956, H.M. Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother came to Graemeshall House for afternoon tea. Stay with us in our eco home in the rural heart of Orkney. Maes Howe, the Ring of Brodgar, & the Loch of Harray are a short drive away. 20 minutes from Kirkwall, Stromness, & the main tourist sites by car. We are not easily reachable by bus. Dogs are welcome; please bring bedding for them. Breakfast: cereal, milk, fruit juice, tea, coffee, bread, butter, jams, & yoghurt. Check in after 4pm (rarely we may ask you to come a little later.)

Eastbank House is a quietly situated Georgian house, close to the centre of town. We offer single, double and triple en suit rooms. The rooms are quiet and peaceful with towels and bedding provided. Each room has it's own small but private toilet and shower.
