It is a 5-minutes to the Ōtaki township, where the Te Wananga O Raukawa campus, and the Golf Course are. The township also contains a library, supermarkets and takeaway shops. The beach and Otaki Forks is just a 10-minute drive.

A modern two story home only 200 meters walk to the beach. Two large living areas are on the entry level along with a generous kitchen equipped with all you need to prepare dinner including a well stocked pantry which you can use. There is a small bathroom on this level. All the bedrooms plus a large bathroom are downstairs - the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. All bed linen and towels are supplied. Just 15 minutes walk down the beach to the cafe's and bars plus a mini supermarket.

A sunny and secluded beach cottage overlooking Waimanu lagoon with views to the Tarurua Ranges inland. A short walk will take you to Waikanae's long sandy beach, the river estuary, cycle tracks and river walks.
