Can walk, run or bike to local trails or stay and walk the trail around the pond, have campfires outside in firepit! Cleaned by me, no crazy rules. Surrounded by nature! Private Great WIFI! Close to ski resorts, dispensaries and amazing Berkshires!

When you stay here you'll find over three private acres of ferns, forests, wild flowers and a native trout brook a stone's throw from the backdoor with your private hot tub to relax in. Beyond the brook are hundreds of acres of state forest preserve. Enjoy great hiking, fishing, skiing, antiques and restaurants minutes away. Only 2 hours from NYC and 8 minutes to Historic Norfolk Center.

Just Be Cabin

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.

Staying here you’ll experience a cozy yet modern vibe, immersed in nature but with all the accoutrements of an upscale stay. Our incredible 4-bedroom home is situated on 2 beautiful secluded acres in picture perfect Monterey - the quintessential Berkshire County getaway, with modern kitchen, screened porch, 2 fireplaces a fabulous outdoor hot tub and a beautiful brook on the property. Enjoy hiking the Appalachian Trail in nearby Beartown State Forest or kayaking and swimming in the incomparable Lake Garfield. We are a quick ride to Ski Butternut, Catamount, Tanglewood, Lenox and Great Barrington.
