The Diary was an oasis of peace and tranquility. The outside space was delightful with a lovely sized private hot tub. A great location - an easy walk to a quaint pub and a short drive to the beautiful Bantham beach and the coastal path to Hope Cove. Estuary towns of Salcomble and Kingsbridge are well worth a visit. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time at our stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. The house is located on high level- so not very suitable for wheel chair users or people with walking problems. The bedrooms both had en suits which both were lovely (both upstairs with no downstairs toilet). The kitchen was well equipped. The location was also very good with places to visit - a car is needed. There is a good size private outside patio to use with good quality garden furniture. With an additional grass section in front -children to play The big bonus was the access to the swimming pool . steam room , sauna & jacuzzi throughout your stay.The whole family really enjoyed it- you need to bring your own towels as they do not supply the towels unless you are staying in the golf club hotel. The Golf club has a bar and Resturant to get food and drink. The golf course was especially good. Very well maintained with beautiful views. Not expensive to hire and play. We would love to return.

We loved our stay! Beautiful cottage that was superbly clean, lovely location with plenty to do nearby (within 20mins or so drive, plus greatwalks and pubs on the doorstep). We bumped into the hosts a couple of times and they were really friendly. Normally as a family we like to stay in diffeent properties when we head away but we are already exploring dates to return here in the Summer.

We loved our stay at Miranda’s place! It was clean, the views were stunning & she was extremely responsive and helpful. Thankful for this wonderful spot for some time with family!

Beautiful cottage with cosy but striking decor, really comfortable and cosy. Perfect for the six of us. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep a roast and the garden was small but perfectly formed. The local pub was a stones throw through a pretty village, with a really delicious menu. Only downside was no local shop for a pint of milk, loaf or emergency crisps. But I guess that may be tricky to sustain in second home areas. All in all a really comfortable cottage - thank you x

A fabulous stay! Emma & Kevin are lovely hosts. They are both knowledgeable on the area with great recommendations. They really cared about making our stay enjoyable and relaxing which we felt. We added on some extras - hot tub, scones and sourdough. The scones and sourdough were delicious - a real treat! The hot tub was such a luxury and it’s brilliant that Kevin heats it all for you, so you just get the relaxing. The property is just like the photos and as described. It’s really well kept. Lots of beautiful finishes in the property making it such a great place to stay. It’s in a great location - 25 minutes drive to some beautiful beaches, 5 minute walk to a lovely pub with great food and beautiful gardens, 20 minute drive to Totnes and Ben’s Farm shop. We took our dog too and she was welcomed by Emma and Kevin with some special treats! The property worked well for her too with lots of great walks on the doorstep. We will definitely be booking in again! Thank you so much!

Great little bolt-hole for our Easter weekend! Right in the centre of Bovey Tracey so walking distance to cafe's, pubs and local shops.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Such a beautifully finished space, right by a great bay, and super handy for the South West Coast Path! Charlie and Zoe were lovely and very responsive - couldn’t have been more helpful. Hope to come back and spend more time there!

Thank you Gill for a lovely stay. We had some friends visiting from Lithuania that weekend and we really wanted to show them English hospitality, which we definitely received from Gill. Place is beautiful and has everything you need. A few min drive from beautiful beaches and villages full of amazing places to eat. Highly recommend. Thank you again.

Spotlessly clean hideaway. So peaceful yet minutes walk from the centre of Dawlish. Completely safe walled garden for the dogs. Train station 5min away, great coastal scenery in all directions. Nice walk to Dawlish Warren and plenty of places to eat and drink. 3 generations and suited us all. Would highly recommend.

Our family had a great stay at Hall House, such a beautiful property with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The garden area is so pretty and very relaxing. There were 6 of us in the house and it felt spacious and really helped having 2 bathrooms. Helen was very responsive and helpful, and there was a very useful welcome guide on arrival with lots of useful recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Stokenham and hope to be back in the future!

Great family cottage, very comfortable and cosy, just a minute's walk from the beach or beautiful countryside. The kitchen is brilliantly kitted out and there are loads of kids games to keep them busy for days on end. We had really mixed weather and the cottage suited us perfectly come rain or shine. We'd definitely recommend it and hope to return.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The location is in the heart of the harbour. Annie & Andrew were excellent hosts. And we pre-booked a couple of their suggestions for a meal. ‘Le Petit Maison’ and ‘Rockfish’. Both very good, ate at Rockfish twice! And brought some fish from the Rockfish Market home. It was a very nice stay. Many thanks

Cider House is a beautiful and very clean house. Few meters away from it is a small green area with a few benches, trees and grass. Also there is pleace for barbecue. Front garden was secure for my dog witch was a bonus. Great communication with Poul and localization just few minutes by car to the beautiful beaches of Devon! We had a great stay!

Had a really lovely stay, the place is beautiful and finished to a high standard, the roads are narrow and parking can be an issue but we always found a place to park, hopefully we can pay them another visit soon

Communication with Mark was great. The house is really lovely, as described, and the oak extension is great. It is tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and our 3 year old grandchild slept well in the peace and quiet. Thank you Mark.... we definitely would like to return.

In one word, heavenly. A Family or small group trip to explore anywhere around Devon, this is definitely a place for you —at a good bargain as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. Modern house with state of the art facilities, wash rooms were great, large island kitchen with a befitting diner stood out for us. All beds and beddings were so so comfortable. Simply felt like home. Hosts Robert and Jane were great with communication so we didn’t need to call the host at any point as everything was as described. They also recommended places around, some of which were 100% for us. We would recommend a trip to Salcombe obviously as it’s a 20+ mins drive, explore the beautiful town, trip to north & south sands via the ferry and enjoy the lovely oceanic view. Highly recommend a visit to Crab Shell inn in Kingsbridge, don’t miss a trip to Torquay Marina, about 40mins drive from Goveton. Need to add that the roads to the village are narrow but in all, great experience!

Peaceful location, comfortable beds, well equipped.

Perfect cottage for a peaceful getaway. Beautifully styled and comfortable with nice touches and a well-stocked kitchen. Heating works really well. Clare is a fab host! Easy to find, we pulled up outside to drop off bags before parking on a street in the village. Nice pub at the bottom of the road.

We had a very relaxing stay in the cosy cottage. We went hiking and exploring in the day, and then sat in front of the fireplace drinking wine in the evening. Perfect easter. The cottage is very well appointed, the kitchen compact but with everything you need to cook a proper meal. Very friendly and accommodating hosts . Can definitely recommend!

Our second visit to Plum Tree Cottage. Amazing cottage with everything you could need. Spotlessly clean and tidy each time. The view over the bay is beautiful. A quiet place to spend a few nights away. I would highly recommend the cottage for a wonderful stay and Catherine is a fantastic host.

My daughter and her family had a lovely time, Gemma. They particularly loved your little special touches that you did. They loved being able to walk up to Berry Head easily and also walk to our home. You have a lovely place. Thank you for everything.
