At approximately 5200 feet above sea level, the Lake Atitlan area enjoys year-round spring-like weather (70s to low 80s during the day and 60s at night). Although temperatures remain relatively constant throughout the year the weather is marked by two distinctive seasons: the rainy season (May to October) and the dry season (November to April). During the rainy season the mountains and volcanoes surrounding the lake are verdant green. The mornings are generally crystal clear, while the afternoons bring spectacular showers that are a sight to behold as they roll in over the lake. During the dry season it is rare to receive any precipitation at all. La Casa Colibri has five luxurious guest rooms each with en-suite bath. Four rooms have spacious balconies overlooking the lake. Two rooms have deep soak tubs with separate showers.

This apartment has a private entrance on the ground floor and is vey private. Full lake views can enjoyed on the upper levels of the house duing daylight hours. Parking is available in front ot the apartment. Visitors can enjoy peace and tranquility with close access to Panajachel and the neighboring villages. Breakfast is peovided for the firrst few days in the apartment kitcnen so there is no need to rush into town the first day.
