Surrounded by fields, yet close to Leominster and Ludlow and within easy reach of Hay on Wye, it is the perfect base to explore from. Discover pretty villages, walk in the hills, treasure hunt in the antique shops or just relax by the woodburner!

Coal’s View is a luxury detached holiday cottage situated in Eyton, a quiet country hamlet within Herefordshire. The cottage offers open plan living with an abundance of high-end features across two floors, with a large private garden and hot tub. The bedroom includes a king bed, with views overlooking the paddocks. The bathroom includes an impressive standalone bathtub. There’s a well fitted kitchen, with a large oven, and dining table, beside a homely living space complete with log burner.

Within easy walking distance of the historic centre of Leominster with its celebrated range of antique shops. Good access to public transport, or a public car park is yards away. A great base to explore the wonderful Herefordshire countryside.

Countryside retreat

My Husband and I moved to Herefordshire in late 2019 and we love it here. The property is surrounded by farming countryside and yet is just a few minutes in to Leominster & with easy access to beautiful towns all around. A fully self-contained 2 bedroom cottage which is attached to the main house. A fantastic place from which to explore. We are just off the old Hereford Road with plenty of parking. Cows and sheep roam the fields around us, and there are cowsheds behind us for Winter use.

With panoramic views across Mork Valley, guests can walk our grassy tracks, explore the old lime kilns, picnic in our fields, say ‘hello’ to the pet sheep and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, stars and sunsets in this magical and relaxing retreat.

The Cottage

Newly renovated, this lovely 2 bedroom cottage is located on the beautiful Whitney Estate, 5 miles from Hay-on-Wye and a 30-minute drive to Brecon Beacon National Park. A short walk away, the village of Whitney-on-Wye offers a riverside pub, canoeing and gourmet shop/café. Walking paths weave through the property and are easily accessible. In addition to numerous area activities including hiking and canoeing, the estate offers salmon fishing beats which are available for guests.
