A farmyard location in the midst of our highland home and in the heart of wild, romantic Perthshire, at the foot of the famous Schiehallion. Two miles from the village of Kinloch Rannoch at the head of the loch, the Bothy is an ideal base for outdoor adventures, observing wildlife or a relaxing escape from the city.

West Cottage is a typical Scottish country cottage among mountains in beautiful Glenlyon. It's semi-detached from our own house with its own entrance. Beautiful, interesting interior with thousands of books. Central heating and wood burning stove. Original range in kitchen, two double bedrooms with a double bed each, both with an extra single bed. There's a fully-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge. Overlooking a bird feeding area with frequent visits from red squirrels.

The Owl House at Gardeners Cottage (dog friendly)

The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting. Glen Lyon, Ben Lawers, Schiehallion, Aberfeldy, Drummond Hill and Loch Tay are just a stones throw away. Well-behaved dogs welcome (please note that we do not allow cats). A Scottish gem in the heart of Perthshire. This spacious bright house is located at the edge of Loch Earn in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. St Fillans is a picturesque village and provides a great base for exploring rural Perthshire including 43 local Munro’s. Situated on the grounds of a working sheep farm, guests can enjoy the quiet atmosphere. In this walking hotspot there is also ample other activities such as cycling, fishing, golf and water sports on loch Earn.

Isla was our first cabin, arriving in 2021. South facing, so you catch the sun from morning to last light, with a big window making the most of the view over the fields to the Sidlaw Hills. The arched ceiling makes it feel bigger the moment you walk in. King size bed, a four seater sofa, fully equipped kitchen, ensuite shower and heated towel rail. Hot tub behind its own privacy screening, fire pit stocked and ready. Star gazing here is ideal on a clear night.
