Vanderkloof is a remote and relaxing holiday destination or stopover en route to your final destination. It is two hour drive from Bloem or a mere six hour drive from Joburg. It’s on South Africa’s second largest dam sporting some of the best fly fishing in the country. Located 6km outside Colesberg, Van Zylsvlei is an oasis in the beautiful Karoo. Die Windpomp, a place to relax.

Die Windpomp is a modern, self catering house in the lovely small town of Vanderkloof. The open plan kitchen has a gas stove with electric oven, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, cutlery and cooking ware. The living area has comfortable couches, smart TV and free Wi-fi. On the porch there is a built in braai with picnic table to enjoy an outside braai. Come and enjoy the peace and beautiful sights Vanderkloof has to offer. Ample parking inside.

Puzzles Accommodation -UNIT 1

Hosting the largest dam in the country, the town makes for an interesting halfway stop between Johannesburg and Cape Town / Port Elizabeth. Puzzles is situated on the edge of the “koppie” and is focused primarily on the overnight traveller. Each unit contains two 3-quarter beds, and a good quality double sleeper couch. Guests have their own entrance. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower. Locked parking is provided behind palisade gates.
