Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. There are three different areas to rest, do puzzles and watch TV in front of a gas fireplace . Then, a large screen porch to watch the amazing sunsets! Two inside baths and 1 outside bath. A small opened porch and a large outdoor deck. There is a cook shed with grill and outdoor fire pit. Then, best of all, a boat house with two electric boat lifts and an opened deck and sheltered deck. Sunflower Cottage is calling your name!

The Project House

Built in the 1930’s as one of the Irwinville Farms project houses, it served originally as home to project farmer Randolph Martin, his wife Estelle, and their children, Frances, Betty, and Jimmy. The house and farm are still owned and operated today by descendants of the Martin family. Recently remodeled family home located within our pine timber and row crop farm. It is situated on a dirt road and surrounded by long leaf pines adding to the feeling of quiet seclusion. The home features three bedrooms and two full baths. Plenty of beds to accommodate multiple sleeping arrangements. There are board games and cards for quiet time. TVs are in three rooms connected to an antenna for reception of a number of stations. Wifi is available throughout the house.

Janelle’s cottage is named after my Mom, Janelle Perkins. She was a public health nurse who had a great love for God and people. This is a handicap friendly home. We want you to enjoy the slower pace in Cochran Ga. This is a pet friendly home whether it’s the 4 legged kind or the feathered kind. They are welcome. We do not charge a pet fee or a cleaning fee. We are approximately 4 miles from Middle Georgia State University and approx. 30 minutes from Warner Robins.
