Our cottage has a wood burning stove, which keeps you cosy on winter evenings. Situated right by Trawsfynydd lake, with amazing views. If peace and tranquility is what you are looking for then this is the perfect spot for you. Sorry no pets. And no swimming or inflatables allowed on Trawsfynydd lake as it’s primarily a fishing lake. Great cycle and footpath round the lake for any one wanting to get out. We are situated inside the snowdonia national park so plenty of places to visit close by.

Our accommodation has an open plan kitchen diner, with 4 bedrooms (3 x beds are zip & link), 3 En-suites & a family bathroom, offering the perfect base to explore the delights of Snowdonia with so many famous landmarks & attractions right on the doorstep. Experience the ultimate getaway in our off-grid Shepherd's Huts next to Barlwyd Lake. Wake up to breathtaking views of Ffestiniog's mountains, quarries, and valleys. Welcome to Dolwaen. Our semi-detached, stone cottage in the Snowdonia village of Maentwrog, close to some stunning walks and truly amazing scenery. Dolwaen is perfectly situated for getting out & about in the beautiful Snowdonia national park. Ideally placed to visit historic town of Harlech, with its spectacular castle and quirky shops. Porthmadog is also close by where you can hop on the Welsh Highland Railway across to Beddgelert, Caernarfon, Blaenau Ffestiniog.
