This is both a great bar and restaurant. The food and drinks are good, but even more awesome is the atmosphere. They have a full menu until bar close too, which makes this place perfect for drinks, board games with friends, and late night eats.

This is my favorite Madison Brewery. They have an awesome tap room with lots of tap room exclusive brews and a really nice patio and outdoor area. The food's pretty good, too.

This courtyard includes 3 different establishments. The first is A-OK coffee house, a bright little coffee shop that's great for coffee, breakfast and brunch and brews locally roasted KinKin Coffee. The second is Julep, a southern inspired restaurant. Finally, there is Barolo, a wine bar. The most awesome part is that they all share the beautiful courtyard, making it the perfect place for a summer morning, day, or night.

We love this park, located just a half-block away from our backyard. The beach is pretty clean and there is a play structure for kids. Great view of the lake, and perfect place to go if you'd like to watch the sunrise.

Take a short hike out to picnic point for an excellent view of the city and capital building. There are also fire pits located along the trail, if you'd like to have a bonfire.
