Really good indoor pools - great fun for children with various water features and slides. In Ashford town centre 15 minutes drive.

Sightseeing
A beautiful castle 23 miles from the house. As well as the inside of the castle there are also lots of outdoor grounds to explore at anytime of year but perfect for a picnic in the summer.

A medieval market town which is lovely to walk around & explore. There are plenty of really good restaurants & cafes, but the best bit is all the antique shops. Just 30 minutes drive across the marsh.

Voted the 3rd best place to live in the UK in March 2013 by The Sunday Times. A gorgeous little village with a few nice restaurants,shops and cafes. Best is the amazing bakery which we visit a lot!

Coined The Jewel of The Weald, a beautiful town with a lovely parade of unique shops. Also has the popular attraction of the Kent & East Sussex Railway Line, as well as Chapel Down, a local Vineyard.

A lovely outing for everyone on this rural light railway which goes for about 10 miles through beautiful countryside and ends up in Bodiam Castle. 20 minutes drive from the house.

The Old Town is lovely to walk around and a good place to go for Fish and Chips. Also a fun day out for the children with an Aquarium and a Smugglers museum. 55 minutes drive from the house.

Really fun place to visit. Go for a walk along the promenade and look at all the colourful huts. Excellent restaurants and pubs. 15 Minutes away from Canterbury so a good place to visit alongside.
