One of our favorite trail systems. Close to town with an in-the-woods feeling. Ends in an outstanding view of Eugene from Spencer's Butte, the highest point in town. Very customizable with several access points.

If the weather is looking a little gloomy we recommend catching a movie at the newly renovated Cinemark 17. All seats are luxury recliners and the theaters are small.

Lovely park with 4,500 roses of over 400 varieties! They tend to be in bloom May through the first couple hard frosts. It is connected to the Ruth Bascom Riverbank System which is an interconnected, paved, multi-use path along the Willamette.

This offers fantastic views of the area. The end of the trail to the summit is a little bit of a bomb but not enough to deter kids, dogs, and older folks.

Great birdwatching, assorted trails, kayaking, and walking. There are several access points that are better suited depending on the activity. A quick internet search will give you more information on access points. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a link in this guidebook.
