A pub with a great location where you can sit outside and overlook the river Itchen. A bit noisy inside though - more to do with the acoustics than the clientèle.

With its Norman and Gothic architecture it is one of the largest cathedrals in England - it has the longest nave and overall length of any Gothic cathedral in Europe.

The Great Hall, one of the finest surviving halls of the 13th century, contains the greatest symbol of medieval mythology, King Arthur's Round Table, and is all that remains of Winchester Castle.
