This is a favourite for a relaxing lunch or early evening meal. Sitting right on Manly wharf this is an up market a la carte/pizza menu. Start with some of their fabulous cocktails and look out over the water, watch the ferries come in and do some people watching. During certain times of the year in the evening you may even see some fairy penguins which break under the wharf. The service here is great. It is popular and you can't always book. The sunset is great.

Parks & Nature
This is a great 8.4km walk. This is an easy walk with laid out paths and bike ways. Great for a walk or jog. It goes right around the lake. Likely to see birdlife including cockatoos an may see black swans out on the lake. Also takes you through some nice easy bush. Suitable for all walkers. Bikes can be hired at the bottom of Powderworks Road should you want to bike ride around it. There are a couple of BBQ areas and children playgrounds. The lake also has kayak hire.

Lakeshore DriveThis is a great 8.4km walk. This is an easy walk with laid out paths and bike ways. Great for a walk or jog. It goes right around the lake. Likely to see birdlife including cockatoos an may see black swans out on the lake. Also takes you through some nice easy bush. Suitable for all walkers. Bikes can be hired at the bottom of Powderworks Road should you want to bike ride around it. There are a couple of BBQ areas and children playgrounds. The lake also has kayak hire.

This headland adjoins the Long Reef Beach and Golf Course. The water around this is a protected Marine Park and a breeding ground for the Grey Nurse Shark ( a non man eating species). There is a great rock shelf that you can walk around a low tide and see all sorts of wonderful crustaceans. There is also a great playground for kids and a good area for flying kites. You may also see some hang gliders enjoying themselves on the cliff edge. Sylvia's pie shop across the road is a local icon for best pies in Sydney.

If you are heading to Manly and want a short picturesque walk head down Manly Beach on the path to Shelly Beach. It is a lovely little beach. Take you snorkel as many do. It has great views back to Manly. The walk can be done by everyone.

You can't beat this place on a Sunny day or warm evening. It is an open air bar on the Opera House forecourt with magnificent views over the city and across to the Harbour Bridge. This is a tourist must do. It's just 2 minutes walk from Circular Quay Wharf. The people watching is also quite interesting with a mix of tourists and locals.

This is a place that even the locals do as a Sunday drive. Take in the sights. You may see our Iconic Home and Away series being made here. Take a walk up to the lighthouse for some of the most spectacular views up and down the coast. Grab some fish and chips and eat on the wharf or at the beach. Or head to one of the nice restaurants if you want something a little more up market.

Take a walk up to the lighthouse for some of the most spectacular views up and down the coast. Grab some fish and chips and eat on the wharf or at the beach. Or head to one of the nice restaurants if you want something a little more up market.
Grab a Ferry from here to the Basin or up the coast to Ettalong. A trip to the Basin for the day is great for a picnic and swim and for the more energetic take a walk through the national park to see some indigenous rock carvings. Should you choose Ettalong you can take a swim in calm water and have a nice lunch at a couple of lovely restaurants on the water or go to the RSL for a cheaper bit. Nice day out.

A trip to the Basin for the day is great for a picnic and swim and for the more energetic take a walk through the national park to see some indigenous rock carvings. Should you choose Ettalong you can take a swim in calm water and have a nice lunch at a couple of lovely restaurants on the water or go to the RSL for a cheaper bit. Nice day out.
