Not only does Lolita's have great wood-fired pizzas, the kale salad is the best we've ever had. When your teenaged boy asks for the salad before he asks for pizza or a soda, you know it's something special! Don't miss it.

Rail Trail connects to the Walkway Over The Hudson and extends all the way down to Hopewell Junction. A lovely ride, and paved for the majority of the trail.

The reward for a relatively brief walk in a portion of the Minnewaska Park, near Wawarsing is a stunning 90 foot waterfall flowing over a sheer cliff face into a pristine swimming hole. Above the fall is a pool from which there are marvelous views of the Stony Creek and Roundout Valleys, into Sullivan County.

Keep to the right on this dirt road, over bridges, until you get to the to the Coxing Kill Trailhead and parking area. Requires Mohonk Preserve Day Pass $10.

Stroll the Walkway Over the Hudson!
The entrance is on Washington Street (take the stairs up) and you may stroll in either direction. Each end of the walkway has an information booth and public restrooms. You can pick up local guides here detailing area events (farmer's markets, festivals, apple-picking) and local businesses. The Walkway is flanked by a paved former rail-trail on either end as well; and you can choose to walk, run, or bike the distance (8 miles in one direction and 13 in the other).
Whatever you choose, don't miss the incredible views from the middle of the Walkway! It is quite spectacular.
