Highly recommend visiting the lighthouse that is located at the top of the neighborhood of La Peñas , night time would be the best time to go due to the weather. However, during the daytime it is just as beautiful (as long as you are okay with the warm weather). This is a very historical area and there are very safe and nice restaurants where tourists can eat.
I would suggest taking an Uber.

This is a very popular place that is very close to the suite 5-10 minutes by car at most, the location is split between a zoo where you will be able to see various animals, and an area that shows how the old historic houses in Guayaquil looked like . You can also enjoy some lite snacks and refreshments if needed.
