Make a point in stopping at this quaint little roadside shop on your way to the cottage. You can find them on Facebook and order ahead. "Focusing on the fresh veggies grown right on the farm, and filling out our offering with locally made preserves, honey, maple syrup, domestic/imported cheeses, and other market style offerings, your taste buds just can not lose." Their website also boasts their 15 types of hand-made stuffed olives. Sandwiches include vegan and gluten-free options.

Located a few minutes away. There is access to many multi-use trails for which you can enjoy hiking, biking, off-road motorcycling, ATVing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing or snowshoeing, the choice is yours. Be prepared with camera in hand as you are sure to stumble across something beautiful, be it a bubbling brook, an unusual but pretty flower to tree, a serene place to relax or one of the many furry critters that call Gooderham home.
Our park in the centre of town has a fully equipped playground for kids to play and run about, tennis court, walking trail and in the winter months an outdoor skating rink.

But game cards early as they sell out quickly. (At the time of adding to our guidebook, game cards are $6 each and are good for 3 games, with winnings of $100, $200, and $500!)

Sightseeing
Just 30 minutes away, you will find the cute town of Haliburton. Visit the Haliburton Sculpture Forest for a nice outdoor trail walk (with 40+ sculptures along the way), the Skyline Park for amazing views of the city, the historic Hawk Log Chute to see the last remaining chute in Ontario, and many more outdoor trails. A 1-km trail at the Oxtongue River-Ragged falls is part of a beautiful day at the park. Haliburton also has 300+km of biking trails. Have a cold beer at Haliburton Highlands Brewing, an award winning micro-brewery producing handcrafted, premium ales as fresh and natural as the Highlands that inspire them! Originally opened in 1986 by Toronto Maple Leaf player #11 – Walt Mckechnie, McKeck’s has been proudly serving the area for over 30 years.
