Food Scene
BEAUTIFUL view from the restaurant, bar/lounge, awesome patio. Ambitious menu for special-occasion dinners (personally, I think the food is somewhat hit or miss). My favorite way to enjoy is to just go to the small bar/lounge or patio for a cocktail and maybe snack or burger. The views are amazing, the renovation of the building is really impressive. It's a must-visit, even just to walk in and look around!

Impossible to describe, really. Japanese food (steamed buns=usually awesome). Setting out of a Quentin Tarantino movie. Live Music. Impressive Sake and Beer selection.
Scattered service when busy, but truly a unique place that always makes me happy.

You won't think you're in the Caribbean, but it's a sweet little beach and just very close to Beacon. If you're lucky enough to go at an "off-peak" time, you could find yourself almost alone.
Weekends get crowded, but that's because it's such a unique and surprisingly great place for some nature/hanging out/tanning/viewing the Hudson (swimming no longer allowed).
