On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Welcome to Scenic View House, a spacious yet intimate midcentury home with everything you need for a perfect retreat! Dogs welcome! Open plan living space in front with incredible views, three bedrooms, with a full bathroom accessible from the main living space and a second, en suite bathroom. Mini-split AC/heating in the main room, and in-wall AC/heating in each bedroom. Hot tub, propane grill, wood-burning stove, and deck dining complete the recipe for relaxing mountain time. Relax and enjoy nature at our beautiful, tranquil, lovingly remodeled A-frame cabin, now with a brand new master suite and sunroom! Within walking distance from the center of town, it's perfectly situated on a quiet street amongst the trees, buzzing with blue jays and hummingbirds. Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy surround-sound tunes, or have a spa-like soak after hitting the nearby trails. As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.
