At 50 meters there are groceries, restaurants, tapas bars, transport (Sintra train and bus station within easy reach of Lisbon, Cascais or Sintra beaches), tourist tours, amongst others. The street where the house is located is reserved for residents making this typical house very calm, away from noise and confusion.
