Big R's Retreat Secluded and located in Nature

Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Take the ferry for ice cream, and fish off the dock for a fresh, relaxing dinner.

Escape to Baraboo Lodge, magical 3,600 sq ft private retreat, designed for large groups. It features 5 king bedrooms, (with additional 2 bunk beds in master, perfect for kids) a large game room with a pool and foosball table, and 3 acre yard with a fire pit and playset. Lodge comfortably sleeps your entire group and everyone has their seat at our huge dining table. Located just minutes from Devil's Lake, Wisconsin Dells, and Ho-Chunk Casino, it's the ultimate base for adventure and relaxation.

BRING LINENS, TOWEL and Pillows. You will receive wristbands for amount of people on reservation. It gives them access to all amenities, pool, aqua park, mini golf. If extra people stay in the cabin wristbands are 10.00 for the extras. Outside has a picnic table, fire pit, and charcoal grill. This cabin has a small kitchenette, a 2 burner stove top (NO OVEN), a microwave, a sink, an apartment-sized fridge, a coffee maker( pods provided), a toaster, some pots, and pans. TV-DVD movies only.

Hana Log Cabin

This beautiful home is all furnished with log Amish furniture. It is very comfortable and is perfect for families and friends "getaways" year round. This home is suitable for one or two families or a group of 10 -12 people. Cabin has 4 bedrooms with Queen size beds , 2 bathrooms , loft with 2 full size beds and futon, kitchen with large dining table and breakfast table , living room with gas fireplace, family room with bar and laundry room . Huge wrap around deck . Large fire pit outside.

While remote, we are still just a short drive to many of our area's greatest attractions that make SW WI a great place to visit.

Our cozy cabin in the Driftless Region near Wisconsin Dells offers a peaceful nature escape. Accented with stained glass, it features a lofted reading nook, vintage books, DVDs, puzzles, and quirky décor. Relax in hammock chairs overlooking a wooded ravine where wildlife often wander by. A stone-stepped trail leads down to a private boat dock with swimming, SUPs, kayaks, and a canoe. Enjoy the Zen garden loop, wildflowers, and games, indoors or out. A perfect spot to unwind and explore.

5 miles from downtown Baraboo, you can follow the country roads through the Baraboo Bluffs to a majestic timber frame cabin. Tucked away on over 30 acres you'll find relaxation by the stocked pond, adventure out in the woods or cozy up by the wood burning fireplace (firewood not supplied) If you’d like to venture out , Devils lake is 15 mins, Wisconsin Dells 20 mins, and 2 ski resorts are within 25 minutes. Wineries, breweries, distillery, shops and restaurants can be found in the area.

The Devils Lake Grand Cabin is a beautifully built Amish log cabin located next to the entrance of Devil’s Lake State Park (Wisconsin’s largest & busiest state park). 1 mile to North Shore beach. 8 miles to Devil’s Head Ski Resort. 15 miles to Cascade Mountain. 15 miles to Wisconsin Dells. The Tumbled Rock Microbrewery/Restaurant has live music during the summer, which you can view from the front porch. The cabin boasts a huge backyard that your family & friends will enjoy.
