Relax with family and friends at a Northwoods retreat. The cabin is a newer build at the end of a quiet road near the start line for the Prince Haakon cross country ski race. It can accommodate large groups with as many as 12 in the cabin on beds and pull out furniture (plus a bunkhouse). Connect to CAMBA mountain bike and American Birkebeiner Nordic ski trails from the front door, through private trails and the Mosquito Brook trailhead. It's walking distance to the cute town of Hayward and is on the Birkebeiner ski trail, meaning you can watch the race right from the deck. Relax with a lake view from every room, hit the ski or bike trails, or take the canoe, kayak, or paddle board up the river and get up close to the wildlife—as they say in Norway, Stikk ut! You can hike, bike, ski, or ride the trails directly from our yard. Plenty of parking-driveway is a loop. Cabin was completely renovated top to bottom in spring of 2021. Enjoy serenity and country feel but also close proximity to Hayward. (2 miles to main street)
