Peaceful Cabin in the Heart of North Country

Our beautiful cabin sits in Clarksville on 6 private acres, close to major ATV and snowmobile trails, as well as the Hurlburt Nature Conservancy Area. We are minutes from Lake Francis and the Connecticut Lakes in NH's northernmost town, Pittsburg. While by no means primitive, our cabin is simple and rustic, and...in the woods. You may be visited by rabbits and coyote, or even a moose or deer grazing early in the morning. You may have the occasional cobweb, fly, swollen door, or sticky evening.

Our cozy 2 bed 1 bath cottage in the Great North Woods is the perfect retreat for those seeking comfort and outdoor adventures. During warmer months, guests can enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking, boating, in beautiful Akers Pond. As well as amazing ATV trails within 5 minutes, hiking trails and scenic views. In the winter, the area offers snowmobiling with direct access to trails, snowshoeing, skiing, and ice fishing on the pond. Rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, perch, bluegill, and other fish.

Cabin 2 is on the right side when looking at the cabins from the pavement of route 16. Relax with the whole family and have direct access to the Magalloway river. Mountain biking, hiking, fishing and wildlife watching including the elusive Moose right out the front door. Cabin has been updated with all new windows and front door. Cabin has been equipped with WIFI. The cabin has limited cell service. Cabin has twin bunk beds in one room and a twin bunk over full size bed in back bedroom.

HILLSIDE Unit - Direct ATV/Snowmobile Access

Welcome to "The Shack"; a new barn featuring three 2-bedroom units each with its own private entrance. Located about 6 miles from downtown Colebrook on 29 acres with a rolling landscape with DIRECT ACCESS to snowmobile (Cor # 5) and ATV trails (Cor # C). The HILLSIDE is a 1st floor unit that has a beautiful and sunny open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen. The unit comfortably sleeps 4 in the 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. There is a walk-in shower and laundry in the unit.

Power goes out no problem... generator automatically kicks in and restores everything including TV , and propane heat. Seclusion at its best! Sreaming tv with Fubo and Netflix, high speed satellite internet.

L' Akers Cottage

Enjoy this Cozy Lake house with a private dock and swimming area. Relax on the large over sized deck while observing the wildlife on the lake. Right next to the property is a public boat launch where you can launch your boat and have it tied to the cottages private dock for easy access. Also available with property is a peddle boat and kyak for your use. ATV trail access is 1/2 mile up the road. In the wintertime, you can snowmobile right from the property to the main trail system.

Back Lake Waterfront - ATV/Snowmobile Trail Access

The location of this charming and private cabin is perfect for your Pittsburg getaway. Located on a short dead end road you will immediately absorb the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful lake front scenery with just under 100' of frontage. This cabin has both ATV and snowmobile access without the need to trailer from the property. The boat launch is conveniently located 1/8 of a mile away and the local beach is a short paddle across the lake using the provided canoe and kayaks.

Pitt Stop Inn- Trail access- late check out

The Pitt Stop Inn is a manufactured home located on a dead end road in the center of the historic village of Pittsburg. Minutes from Lake Francis, Back Lake and the Connecticut Lakes. Enjoy all the outdoor activities that Pittsburg has to offer from this central location. Deer and turkeys are often seen in the yard along with the occasional moose. We are UNABLE to host those guests wishing to access Pittsburg's ATV trail system. We apologize for any inconvenience.
