The Pottery Barn

This is a self contained annex above a double garage (please note low roof angles in places) with an independent door. It has one king size bed with some seating and a TV and dinning table. There is a small kitchenette including a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The ensuite has a basic electric shower and usual amenities. There is internet available. If you would like to bring a child please contact us before to check if suitable. There is parking on the main road or opposite in a Close.

The Studio is part of the historic ‘Listed’ Grade II* Kennet House, built in 1701 by the Bishop of Oxford, nestled near the village pond, the church & the village pub. Ramsbury is a picturesque Wiltshire village nestled in the north of the county. Our self-contained ground floor chalet is situated within the grounds of the Crown and Anchor public house, which is no longer open. There is free parking, use of the pub garden, private entrance and patio area. We welcome one well behaved dog but do ask that they are kept off of the furniture and bed. Within a short walk you will find the Bell public house and restaurant, a local shop and the post office.

We are a few minutes’ walk away from The Old Spotted Cow pub. The cottage is full of country character and the interiors reflect our love of travel. Please note: you are using the pool and hot tub at your own risk, there is no life guard! Please watch children and non swimmers in the pool and hot tub at all times.

Symonds Barn is a spacious converted barn set in the middle of Childrey, a village on the edge of the Ridgeway, only 15 miles from Oxford. Choose between enjoying an escape to the countryside, with delicious meals in one of the many local cafes and pubs and walks through some really beautiful countryside (it’s a 5 minute drive onto the Ridgeway), or take advantage of the nearby shopping and culture in Oxford, Marlborough, Hungerford or Burford.
