As featured in series 10 of BBC's 'Shetland', Spindrift is deal for those who enjoy beaches, walks, birdwatching and dramatic cliffs. 'Spindrift' is a traditional white 2-bedroom cottage situated almost on a sheltered sandy beach. Levenwick is conveniently located on the South Mainland of Shetland, half way between Lerwick and Sumburgh Airport and close to many attractions. It has a regular bus service. From Spindrift you can stroll to the beach, launch boats from the sand and take cliff walks.

Peerie Bugarth Self Catering Shetland

This traditional stone croft house was fully renovated & extended in 2015. It now has a light, modern interior, holding on to some traditional features. 3 bedrooms are light and in neutral colours. The open plan living kitchen area boasts a vaulted ceiling and country cottage style kitchen, with walk in larder cupboard. Relax in the evening in front of a roaring fire, or explore the beach which is just a 2 minute walk away! A great location to explore Yell, Unst, Fetlar & the north of Shetland.

Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Mavine Cottage, Lerwick, Shetland

A cosy stone built cottage, circa 1800, in a superb location on the outskirts of Lerwick. Gorgeous sea view, with the Sands of Sound beach just down the road and great access to coastal walks. Easy walking distance to Tesco and the Clickimin Leisure Complex, with Lerwick town centre only 1.25 miles away. There's a well equipped kitchen with a pully for drying clothes and also a good size living room. Mavine Cottage is a great base from which to explore all Shetland has to offer.

Scarpoe's Kitchen, Herra, Yell, Shetland

Scarpoe's Kitchen is an ancient "Kytja" house in the beautiful island of Yell, in Shetland. It has been completely restored and is offered as a high quality and unique place to stay. The former crofthouse is the perfect spot to get away from it all. It is easy to lose yourself in “da Herra,” a magical place where ancient legends of giants and trolls abound. Sea Winds, is a newly renovated c. 1760 two-storey listed townhouse located in the picturesque south end of Commercial Street, Lerwick. With beautiful open views over Bain's Beach, you can enjoy life by the sea with all the modern comforts of the house has to offer, including a wood burning stove. Close to the BBC series 'Shetland 'Jimmy Perez' home', and minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs in Lerwick, Sea Winds makes an excellent base to tour the isles.

Bank's Cottage

Totally relax and unwind in our fully renovated cottage by the sea. Take in the unspoilt views of the hills, isles and shoreline. Situated in Papil, Burra,the location is perfect for exploring Shetland with lots to do and see nearby. Banks Cottage has undergone an extensive refurbishment, retaining the character of the original building but adding all the comforts of modern living. The Peerie Neuk is a sustainably built tiny eco home with all the comforts of a cosy house just a bit tinier! There is a double bed and fold out sofa, suitable for one adult or two children. There’s is a small kitchen with hob, kettle and little fridge (large enough for two bottles of prosecco 🤣). There is a wood burning stove with oven. The oven will keep things warm. There’s on demand hot water, shower and compost toilet.
