Lake Daylesford Cottage

Beautiful house with an amazing view of the lake. It was cozy and perfect for relaxing—especially by the fireplace. The beds were very comfortable, and everything about the stay was peaceful and enjoyable. A great place to relax and unwind. We will definitely be back.

This is the second time my friends and I have stayed here and my heart is just so full being able to spend time with my loved one in such a beautiful house in the most beautiful location. The view is perfect, the trees are perfect, the house is comfortable and gorgeous. Having a BBQ, a pool and fireplace just ticks all the boxes. I want to make this my regular holiday home. Thank you to Nigel for being an excellent communicative host. Lulu

We had such an easy and lowkey weekend away at Caity's place - even with a 7 month old baby. We had everything we needed and everything was so clean, there wasn't anything to worry about. Thank you for having us!

Cute House, Big Garden in the Heart of Daylesford

Cute little old house, great location in the heart of town. Perfect for what we needed - a base whilst participating in the GAH. Jasmin kindly left some bread, butter, milk & eggs. Plenty of toilet paper & towels. Everything you need - handwash, body wash, shampoo & conditioner. Bathroom is OG. Heaters keep the house cosy. Wish we had more time to explore Daylesford and enjoy the sunshine in the background. Thank you

The Cottage - Bath, Private Deck - Sleeps 2

Spotlessly clean and beautifully curated, the cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. Peaceful, comfortable and filled with thoughtful touches, it also felt private which we appreciated. The welcome bottle of fizz was very generous as were all the other amenities designed to create a feeling of home away from home. Only a five minute drive from Daylesford, the location was super convenient and easily accessible. Similarly, Heather was incredibly responsive and quick to help with local tips and suggestions. An all-round lovely stay! We hope to visit again one day soon.

Beautiful home close to Lake Wendouree and a lovely stroll to town and cafes. Clare is a great host who was very helpful and friendly to communicate with.

Had a great stay at this cottage during the Chillout Festival. At that time, obviously, there were a lot of queers partying in Daylesford, including the immediate neighbours, who we assume were also guests in town for Chillout, so we didn't mind the noise. I assume without a major festival on it would be a lot quieter.

It was great to arrive and find a couple of lights on incase we arrived late. The house was easy to find and the key safe was in a great location. As we walked inside the long passage had some doors running off to 3 large bedrooms and a shared bathroom, the main bedroom had an ensuite that had a very large bath tub in. The beds were soft and the linen was very clean. The house is large and has a beautiful back garden area with a large bird feeder. (take a small packet of bird seed and put in the rotating wheel). The views from the balcony are of nice bush land. The house has a very large common area and the kitchen has everything that you need. Thank you Deb for a loverly house. Warm regards Gary

Ballarat's Best Lakeside Location Cardigan House

The house seems recently decorated, clean, and cosy. Particularly loved the log effect gas fireplace, the lux ensuite, and the private courtyard with BBQ. Beds were comfy and full laundry was a godsend after 5 weeks on the road. Couldn't fault a thing. Thanks Traci.

Halina’s place offered our family a beautiful modern and convenient stay in Ballarat, only a short drive to the CBD. Halina was super flexible and willing to accommodate a small extra request. Would highly recommend staying in this quiet and comfortable area of Alfredton. Would absolutely return
