Barnacle Tree is a self catering cottage on a private residential property in Somerset West, 50km's from Cape Town. We are surrounded by the Helderberg Mountains, with good access to local beaches, parks, wine farms, restaurants and scenic routes. The cottage consists of a lounge, kitchen, bedroom (Queen bed) and en suite bathroom with shower. It's perfect for one to two people and also for short term students and business guests wanting longer stays as it is fully equipped, secure and enclosed.

Kim's Cottage, Jonkershoek Valley

Avoid the crowds and immerse yourself in nature! Waterfalls Farm is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Jonkershoek valley, and nestled on the foothills of Stellenbosch Mountain. Approximately 10km from the village center, and 5km from Stellenbosch University. Within easy walking distance to the Jonkershoek and Assegaaibosch Nature Reserves, both of which are World Heritage Sites. For larger groups you can book Lente Cottage (3 doors down) & Protea Cottage together for 12 guests

Under milkwoods

This house is built directly above a secluded beach in Gordon's Bay. It has five majestic milkwood trees and an indigenous garden. The sea is often calm and the sandy beach is suitable for children. There are rock pools and cormorants and seals in the bay. The harbour and the village are within walking distance. The house sleeps four people, but only one bedroom is fully enclosed; the rest of the house is open plan. Sam lives upstairs and will be there to welcome you on your arrival.

Small cottage with a private garden in a beautiful neighborhood. The cottage is very spacious with a large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed in the bedroom. The bedroom is fitted with a airconditioning unit. The cottage has it's own secure parking and a private garden, perfect for a quaint getaway. Fully functional WiFi, TV with a Netflix available. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, oven, microwave, washing machine and a Nespresso Vertuo machine (4 pods supplied).

Laanrust Cottage on the Eersteriver

The proximity of Laanrust cottage to downtown Stellenbosch, the University campus and Coetzenburg sports grounds makes it the ideal location for visitors. You can walk, run or cycle straight out of your own gate into the mountains, and the many restaurants and coffee shops in town are just a 10-minute stroll next to the Eersteriver away. The cottage has wifi and Netflix, DSTV, an air conditioner and safe parking inside. Also stand-by power during load-shedding for wifi and TV.
