Great little house with an ocean view equipped with everything you could need! Perfectly matched the description with extra amenities and recommendations that put it over the top. Well worth the price point. Would definitely stay again!

Huge home with all the needed amenities for our stay! Was very pleased to find a little closet of kids puzzles and books as well. My kids loved the gems and rocks that were collected around the home. Wish there was a little space where we could have found it what some of them were and where they were collected!!

The house is airy and bright with wonderful skylights. It's situated in a beautiful neighbourhood that suited us well as we did activities in all directions. We enjoyed the view of the garden and found the beds very comfortable.

Terry's place was absolutely fabulous! Exactly as described, very clean and spacious with lots to do (hot tub, outdoor fire pit, pool table)! I appreciated the dedicated workspace in the home which was perfect for those of us who work when we travel. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with lots of small appliances and things to get you started when you first get there. Terry was a kind host who accommodated us with an early check in and great communication while we were there. We would love to come back next year, and absolutely recommend Terry and his place to all guests looking for a peaceful spot with lots to do, and beautiful surroundings! Thanks Terry for being a super host and for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Serene’s place is so lovely. Spacious, but cozy and super clean, with beautiful surroundings and lovely hosts. Serene went above and beyond to make sure we, and especially our kids, were comfortable. She had all the baby necessities, and even provided toys based on my toddler’s interests. Would highly reccomend!

We had very restful sleeps as the home was in a quiet neighborhood with very comfy beds. We were able to enjoy sitting on the deck one afternoon listening to the birds and enjoying the view. The drive to Ganges for groceries and restaurants was only ten minutes drive. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal including some vinegars, oils and seasoning. Our hosts were very friendly and keen to make sure we had everything we need.

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful house! It was the perfect setting for us to be together, enjoy nature and unwind. Communication was excellent and everything was very clear. We will definitely be recommending this space and hopefully be back!! 💛💛

Tanya's place is an amazing find! Great starting point for all the must-see N. Cowichan spots. View of the lake is very nice from the hot tub :) Clean amenities all around and more spacious than it looks. Quiet neighbourhood and you may catch a glimpse of little quail running around the gardens.

This place was perfect for our family of four. we easily felt comfortable and at home. Clean and well maintained. Easy to get to. check-in and check out were easy. Felt very secure. The location is wonderful, incredibly walkable. Close to everything. Would not hesitate to stay again!

I’ve stayed at 60+ different AirBnb and other short term rental properties over the last few years and this apartment has to be in my top 3 all-time stays. Everything was spotless and it felt like we were the first guests (in a good way) - even though there are many months of reviews from guests before us. From the gorgeous Cowichan Bay harbor setting to the comfy beds and spacious , smart layout, I just can’t imagine a better place to stay! Our only mistake was that we only booked it for two nights - we should have stayed longer. Next time, we will!!!

Our stay at this Airbnb was truly exceptional. This is a uniquely curated space where the host has clearly chosen every item with great care and personal taste. The attention to detail is remarkable — it genuinely feels like a home away from home, with everything you might need readily available, and in some cases, even more. We stayed for four days and experienced complete comfort. The hosts were incredibly responsive and addressed any concerns immediately. We did encounter a minor issue with the toilet flush tank, but the host resolved it swiftly, showing their commitment to ensuring a smooth stay. Additionally, the detailed instruction booklet they provided was extremely helpful, making it easy to navigate and enjoy our time here. If you're looking for a place that offers convenience, comfort, and outstanding hospitality, this is it! This place is around a 15-minute drive from downtown Victoria, which was perfect for us but might be a factor for those wanting Highly recommended!

Agata’s place was so beautiful, in a great location and very comfortable to stay in! There was lots to do around the area and it felt very safe. It was very easy to check in, even when going with a vehicle and the instructions were super easy to follow. Agata also responded quickly to messages and made communication stress-free. Stayed here with my mom, sister, and cousin and we had a great time! Beautiful views and so peaceful. The building was very grand feeling, the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Cindy was a great host, easy to chat with and quick to respond. Loved the location, made it easy to fly and take the ferry for a day trip!

The Airbnb itself and host were great! Super comfortable beds and bedding, extremely clean and had everything I needed. The building was nice and the outdoor sitting area and pool were also a perk. The check in time was a bit late and the check out time was quite early but I made it work. The check in and check out were a bit complicated as well. I understand this is due to the way the building operates and the instructions were clear + Wayne was helpful but I see how the whole process and key situation could be confusing for some. Overall it was a comfortable stay and I would stay again!

Wonderful place to stay. We came without a car and were able to walk everywhere: Cook Street Village, Beacon Hill park, downtown, Chinatown, the inner harbour. Being able to watch the ships from the front room and walk along the seafront right out the front door was amazing. The house is luxurious and spotlessly clean. A great getaway spot!

My wife and I had a phenomenal stay at this Airbnb. Nestled in the city's heart, it provided a stunning view of the iconic Empress Hotel. Nice place. Great location Closet was small and furnishings were a bit out of scale and dated. Pillows were mis matched. Kitchen was clunky with no oven just a toaster oven. Noise from the garage door and cars coming and going was irritating. Kit drawer did not work, and drawer front was separated. Threshold to bath was splintered. Overall just needed some careful maintenance.

We had an incredible stay at this stunning property perched on the ocean in Shirley, BC! The views of the Olympic Mountains from the premium hot tub were nothing short of breathtaking, especially when we spotted humpback whales at dusk on our first night—pure magic! The property itself at moments may feel more like a swanky international hotel with its backlit onyx kitchen and luxurious rain shower yet nestled in the rustic beauty of the coast. Our host, Robert, was incredibly kind and attentive, immediately offering his charging station for our car—a real relief. Highly recommend this place for an exceptional, premium coastal retreat close to Victoria!
