We had a great stay (4 adults, toddler and baby). For our group the house was child friendly on a quiet street with a large shaded out door area. We made use of the extremely well stocked kitchen and bbq. A short walk down to the beach and great little coffee caravan. Would recommend

We had a fantastic stay at Wattle Bird for a friend's getaway. The house was spacious and comfortable—perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 dogs. Rob and Di were exceptional hosts, warm and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The property had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Barwon Heads, with standout amenities like the BBQ, hot tubs, and a cozy fireplace. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wattle Bird and would love to return!

Fabulous! Bathroom especially beautiful and well-appointed! Quiet, comfortable and very clean. Bed super comfortable. Lovely walks near river. Highly recommend.

Our fourth stay at Deb and Mary’s was just as relaxing and comfortable as it always is. We highly recommend this gorgeous house, both for its location and for how modern and well-equipped it is. The two living areas make it a fantastic choice for an extended family group. Thanks Deb for being the best communicator and for making us feel at home. We’re already missing it and looking forward to next year’s visit.

Hi Deb! Today we left your wonderful house unfortunately after 6 weeks. We had a phantastic time and didn’t want to leave… We got in contact with so many nice people in Surf Church and Baptist Church. The Catholic School was also wonderful for our son. We loved Surfing at Smiths Beach, hiking at Pyramid Rocks, swimming at the Beach at your House with the black swans, Jogging at Silverleaves and writing a Book on the terrace of your House with the Most wonderful panoramic view ever!!! How can I now live without it?

Had a wonderful stay, lovely walk to a beautiful beach. The view over the golf course was so peaceful. A lovely neighbourhood, with friendly people. We all had a blast and loved the space and was a great for our dogs and great to have a doggy door that went into the garage. Would recommend this place for a peaceful, relaxing getaway.

Excellent location and great value for money. The hosts were super professional & easy to deal with, totally did their due diligence for our check-in. On the contrary, Check-in info needs to be communicated slightly better as there was nothing indicating we had to get in through a grey gate to access the lockbox, it was a free access but we had to search for a good 5-10 minutes for the lockbox. The equipment in the house needs to be replaced. For instance, the soap dispenser wasn’t working in the main bathroom. Washing machine was super old, its quick wash cycle being a whopping 3 hours which was disappointing. There was a massive hole in one of the bedroom’s closet, the back gate to the garden was also playing up. Lastly, we’d expected cordless vacuum cleaner for convenience, however that wasn’t the case. Overall, with few minor changes/ improvements, this house has the potential to tick all the boxes

I could not go on this trip but my family had a great time! Review from them: The amenities were top notch, environment clean and more than ample supplies in pantry for our stay. Most importantly the Wifi connection was great too! It's so like a home away from home!

This was our first family trip to St Kilda, and we were very pleased with Marcus and Zahra’s apartment. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area, with tram stops conveniently right out front and plenty to do within walking distance. The space was nicely equipped, just as described, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We didn’t encounter any issues, but Marcus was proactive in reaching out to ensure everything was going smoothly, which we appreciated. We’re already looking forward to returning to St Kilda and would gladly stay here again!

Location was important to us; we had a car and needed easy access to the nearby suburbs. A secure basement parking space was included with direct access to the unit via elevator. Tram stop to CBD is only a 5 minute walk. Then there’s the views from the Balcony; spectacular sunsets, you look down on Albert Park Lake with Port Phillip Bay beyond, then after sunset a clear view of the City with its remarkable light show. And, if you’re in the unit at sunset, you can watch (and hear) the local White Cockatoos show (right from the balcony). There were only two of us and it was well suited for our needs.

We had the most amazing stay here! I would highly recommend for any couples looking for their next trip to Melbourne. Stunning and spacious apartment, 5 minute walk from the tram to the city! Thank you to the host for making us feel so warm and welcome. Thank you so much!!

The accommodation was perfect, central location and easy to get around. The styling of the space is stunning, makes you feel right at home. Loved our time here

Fantastic location, great view and close to public transport, as it’s on a major road however, the road noise can be heard with the door open, very comfortable for five guests and can recommend for family holidays

Es war von Anfang bis Ende ein toller Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung hatte eine tolle Aussicht und eine gute Ausstattung. Mit der kostenlosen Tram kommt man im 10 Minuten Takt in das Zentrum. Leider ist das Stadtviertel noch nicht so gut angekommen, weswegen gute Restaurants (insbesondere am Wochenende) sehr rar sind.

Outstanding place in St Kilda. Everything you need is in reach and Froilan is one of the kindest hosts I’ve ever had.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at Pigeon Bark farm in the cottage. The place was cosy and specious with comfy beds and couch, spotlessly clean with old world charm. The kitchen had all we needed and was well stocked, the coffee and breakfast provisions and snacks were good. It was completely calm and peaceful but lovely to see the animals around, especially the beautiful friendly peacocks who can be hand fed. Jacqui was an excellent host and living nearby was an excellent help with anything we needed and quickly responded to our needs. She even went the second mile by offering us drop off and pick up from our very close wedding venue. A lovely friendly person.

Incredibly peaceful surrounds with rolling hills, pond with ducks and access to a tennis court and a basketball ring. The cottage is perfectly basic with a great selection of board games and a TV without Netflix/streaming. We enjoyed sunset on the back porch, games of tennis and the close proximity to beaches and wineries. Thank you Anastasia for sharing this slice of summer paradise

Our two visits 'bookended' a two week holiday in Tasmania, via Ferry rides with car. We very much appreciated being able to visit and stay at Christines accommodation.

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend for some wine tasting and a hot air balloon ride. The cabin was really nice and felt so authentic. The atmosphere and environment was beautiful - the surrounding farm lands really added to the authenticity of the cabin experience as well as the well-kept antique furniture. The whole cabin reminded me of my late great aunt’s home back in South Carolina — pure nostalgia for me. The kitchen was super functional, the hot tub was great, the heated floors in the bathroom was an excellent touch, the single air-con was incredibly efficient in keeping the entire cabin cool in the summer heat but I would recommend bringing a personal fan just in case. Overall a fantastic experience, looking forward to staying again

Lovely cottage, felt very homely and welcoming. Wonderful hosts who left us lots of Easter goodies! Would highly recommend staying here!

Our family of four had such a lovely stay here. The cottage was even nicer than the pics, with lots of thoughtful touches. The pool and gardens are gorgeous, too, and host Caesar (the lab) took us on a walk through the grounds, past the cows and horses, olive trees and more. Kate and Evan were very welcoming and gave us clear instructions about everything. Location-wise, it was nice and central, with Port Arlington, Barwon Heads etc an easy drive away and we found lots of activities to keep the kids entertained. Thanks for having us!

Absolutely loved our stay in this cute cottage. The enclosed courtyard was perfect for our dog to be safe. Walking distance to great food choices. Totally recommend and would stay again if available when travelling back to Melbourne.

We spent 6 nights at Phar Lap Tree Cottage and found it to be a relaxing, private , quiet and cosy place to stay. Kevin is a very thoughtful and caring host and welcomed us with chocolate Easter bunnies and a nice bottle of wine. There were also generous breakfast provisions. The queen size bed is probably the most comfortable one we've experienced on our airbnb stays. Looking out over the lovely garden, listening to the birds and watching the sunsets from the verandah was a special highlight. The cottage is in a great position for easy driving access to the Bellarine Peninsula and Great Ocean Road. We plan to stay at Phar Lap Tree Cottage again.
