It was an awful weather during the days we stayed in Hawera. We were working out in the field and couldn't wait to get to the cozy and warm place that is Lisa's AirBnB. 100% recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and the tram is really well equipped. Allan was really helpful when we were heating up the hot tub and we were able to relax in it and watch the sunset.

This magical place was a surreal and peaceful experience for us … the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at and everything was perfect.. the cosy home was surrounded in nature, views of lake, outside fireplace and indoor, a spa, glow worms on a nature walk, birds and two happy ducks in the lake. The bed was amazing and kitchen with all your needs and more. So much silence and had the best time there we will definitely come again. Priceless

Fabulous place for the whole family. New and modern house, comfy with woodburner on cold nights and all the amenities you will need for a relaxing stay. Plus a few extra treats left by the lovely owners:). The outdoor fireplace was an awesome addition on cold starry nights. Kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and the dog loved the huge fenced in yard.

Absolutely beautiful getaway, so private and relaxing!! Stunning view and the fire/wood fire tub was such a lovely treat. The hosts were kind and responsive and I would absolutely stay again! Loved all the coffee options too ☕️

Absolutely enjoyed our rural stay. The cottage is clean, clutter-free, well-equipped with everything we needed and feels so homely. Safe area with lovely view of Mount Taranaki and gorgeous Kaupokonui Beach nearby. Lesley is a super fantastic host. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

The location couldn’t be better: private enough to feel secluded, yet close enough to explore nearby attractions if you choose to venture out. The interior is just as inspiring, filled with beautiful, unique artwork that reflects a deep respect for both culture and history.
