This 900 sq. ft. Casita is nestled in the foothills of the Tortolita Mts. NW of Tucson, near the main house but with its own amenities, including solar panels on the roof, tasty well water from >1,000 ft. depth, speedy reliable wi-fi and internet-enabled large-screen TV. The views from huge picture windows are gorgeous, especially to the north and west. Native plantings are of numerous indigenous and exotic cactus species, and other native bushes and trees. We love it and think you will too.

Modern Mountain River Cottage Upper Canyon

BY THE GRACE OF GOD (and maybe a bit of my sheer grit) this little lady is standing post 2024 fires/floods……..She is still and will continue to be a pristine cozy cottage on the Rio Ruidoso that offers an historic Upper Canyon stay. To be clear the neighborhood does show remnants of its former self but in no time will be stunning again……Further I want to thank all my former guests for their outpouring of love and support through this most surreal time……..awesomely good people in this world!

The year was 1946 and somebody in Twentynine Palms had the right idea--to build an adorable Spanish bungalow that simply oozed "romantic getaway to the desert," a place to take in the fresh air, the stillness at night and the stars. "Josh" as he is affectionately known, along with his partner "Tam" [an almost identical twin] is an updated version of that bungalow built so long ago. Modern in amenities, but pioneer in spirit, Josh is awaiting some special guests.
