Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

The Robins Nest is a cozy, trendy suite in the lower level of our home. A private entrance (no steps) with easy check in. We live in the country so you may see wildlife like deer. There is lots of natural sunlight in the nest. Head for fresh produce on Fridays at Green Dragon Farmers Market 10 min away. We are only 40 min from Amish country, 50 min to Hersheypark and 15 min to many antique stores. Or hike at Middle Creek Wildlife Management or rent kayaks at Middle Creek Kayaks 10 min away.

We are located right in the center of all the things you come to Lancaster County to see. Close to it all yet back in the woods for some peace and quiet when you’re done for the day.

Our Conestoga wagon is tucked in a campsite along the woods at the Dutch Cousin Campground located near Denver, Pennsylvania. The triple-layer waterproof “bonnet” provides a year-round climate-controlled (with heat & a/c) environment.

This cozy little cabin is nestled under the tall trees in the Dutch Cousin Campground. Enjoy a relaxing evening around the firepit listening to all the sounds nature has to offer. Its beautiful timber framework, high steel beams for suspension, and glass front makes for the perfect retreat.
