Dalveen Garden Cottage

Our cosy garden cottage with bedsit, kitchen-diner and log-stove is the ideal base for exploring the Trossachs/Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh. Located in scenic, rural Kippen, we are a 5 minute walk from shops, post office and two award winning gastro-pubs: The Cross Keys and The Inn at Kippen. A busy farm shop with a Deli counter and cafe is on the outskirts of the village. Kippen was listed as one of the 20 best villages in Britain in the The Times newspaper.

The Anchorage, Family Friendly,Views, plus Kayaks

The Anchorage, Arrochar, was built circa 1913 and has been newly upgraded in December 2019 giving the cottage a luxurious interior with gas central heating and beautiful wood burning stove. Two ensuites and a beautiful bathroom provides guests with plenty of room whilst the large garden with pizza oven and BBQ has amazing views where guests can relax on the decking or seek shade in the lean to. Everyone can use the fire pit, games room or play area to keep occupied or use the Kayaks provided.

Lochs Achray and Venachar are within walking distance, spectacular Loch Katrine is just 10 minutes away by car while historic Stirling is within easy reach. Upstairs are 2 ensuite bedrooms (one standard double, one king or twin). Downstairs is an open-plan living space, well-equipped kitchen and a wet room.

There is easy access to beautiful walks within the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park direct from your door step.

This small terraced cottage is in the friendly village of Thornhill, a scenically short drive from the hiking, walking and biking trails of the Trossachs. Within the village there is small path network and two commons for evening strolls. Thornhill is perfectly located to explore Stirling, Callander, Doune and the surrounding countryside, including Blairdrummond Safari Park. The village boasts a fabulous pub/restaurant serving good food and chatty locals.

The Wash House: a Cosy Romantic Countryside Escape

The Wash House is a beautiful, cosy cottage adjacent to a charming Schoolhouse built in 1857. This space was once the schools laundry facility. Character has been retained in this beautiful modern space. Our little slice of paradise is at the gate way to the highlands and 5 minutes from doune ( for those Outlander fans). It is perfect for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding area or even as a stop over on route to the highlands.

The hillside cottage is surrounded by awesome views. It is perfect for those looking for a quiet romantic hideaway, away from it all. About a mile up a private single track, you'll only have sheep and wildlife to disturb you. The cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen, a hot tub, Smart TV and DVD library. It's also completely powered by hydro electricity with delicious spring water to drink.
