Booked this for a long weekend get away for my family in mid April. Wonderful experience. We had 7 adults, 3 children, and a mobile baby. Home was comfy, although a bit tight for this many folks (especially with active children). But it worked for us. Loved that there was a door to downstairs so we didn’t have to worry about the baby falling. Also loved how baby and pet friendly the home was. The updated features in the home felt very high-end. Sitting in the hot tub while it was snowing was magical and we really enjoyed the sauna. Having 3 full baths worked well for so many of us. The loft room was well used by the children, as they loved going up and down the stairs! We found out that it’s a great house for hide-and-seek! The ample tables served our needs for eating as well as playing board games. The kitchen, although small, is well appointed and stocked with whatever appliance or cookware you need…. and we did ALOT of cooking. The home is immaculately organized and very comfy!

Our stay at Lazy Bear Lodge in Red River NM was wonderful! The home and views were beautiful and very peaceful! The house was very well equipped and we had plenty of room for 7 of us. Lindsey is a sweetheart! She is so friendly, was always quick to answer any questions and was great to work with. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us and we look forward to staying there again!

This A-Frame 3 was Great All the way Around! If you have a bigger Family or Group Or Older adults and Young adults that can handle themselves you should really try and rent A frame 2 and 3 together this let's you share parking share front steps and #2 can use #3 hot tub the space inside is warm an cozy not to big not to small Location is Perfect couldn't get any closer to The Face watch skiers from the Hot tub from inside by the fireplace and even upstairs laying in your bed!! If you have kids Old enough to let loose you know let them come an go as they need, This Spot Will not be Beat in Red River!! Get the A Frame 3 it has Hot Tub!! Oh yeah this Stood out to me and Most people don't mention on Reviews the Hot Water was Hot stayed hott with 4 adults running water the Pressure is Up to Par way better than you would imagine for the cabin and Winter climate ....Slopes are Lovely Get on the Blue Runs much Nicer than Green For real!... Enjoy This A-FRAME3 Red River Get away I know we will Definitely be Back this Time with Teenagers lol!!! PS you should Snowmobile to the Greenie Peak Almost 12.000 ft Elevation its the 3 hr loop tour Way Fun!! rent thru diner to the right. Peace Love and Texas!!

It was a very nice place to stay. A short distance from town and surrounding towns. We enjoyed our stay. Our family consisted of 6 adults, 4 children ages 13,11,9 and 3.they enjoyed it too.

Vivian was a wonderful host! She was friendly and her hospitality was beyond compare. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others looking for a respite away from the hustle of every day life. The woods behind the cabin were fun to explore and extremely peaceful. This was even better than the description on Air Bnb. I am so glad I had a chance to unwind and reset here

This place is super peaceful. Our cabin had a steam shower & sauna, this was so nice to have as this was a work trip. Bed was very comfortable. I Would highly recommend this place for a get out of the city & recharge getaway! Beautiful area. Thanks for hosting us Vivian.

It was a great experience and stay. We were big family visiting Taos and Sand Dunes and decided to stay somewhere in the middle and this was perfect location, quiet, peaceful, in a small valley. Marie is a great host and was very responsive. Highly recommend the place and would love to come back stay here.

We were given directions to the place and found that Apple Maps took is right to the location. It appears google maps is not the best in giving directions and Damien makes that clear and. gives detailed instructions to get to the cabin. We found the place awesome for anyone looking for peace and quiet and stunning beauty of the property and the cabin. We were made aware that water is hauled there and we were given ample water for our stay. It has solar system as well as a generator for electricity. So when we had a beautiful snow storm that covered the solar panels we had some issues that were quickly resolved. Don't forget to conserve electricity but if you drain the solar batteries you can start the generator to get the lights on. Damien was an amazing host, gave clear instructions and if you want to get away from everything this is the place! We have found the place we hope to return to soon to enjoy the splendors of nature and the cabin again. Hopefully soon!

So peaceful and relaxing. Didn't see others during our stay. Cabin was warm and cozy. Our dog had a great time playing in the snow. Highly recommend a stay here!

We absolutely enjoyed our time at the casita. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. The view was incredible. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed the getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cindy’s cabin. She was so sweet and when she saw we had an infant she reached out to let us know she would provide a pack and play and high chair. We were able to walk to the Copper Chair lift in our ski books no problem! We’ll definitely be back!

Jared reached out to give us clear instructions and some local tips. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the Airbnb was exactly what we expected. While definitely remote, it was just what we needed to avoid fireworks on the 4th (terrified dog) and enjoy a little family vacation. We would definitely go back!

Great place, good deal, nice host and easy to deal with. The back yard is amazing and too much to do for the outdoorsy person all just a short drive away. Recommend

Chris was very helpful ensuring we knew what to expect prior to arriving. Answered any questions we had and even sent a video making sure we knew how to make it up the driveway! We had a great time and the cabin worked perfectly for our 2 families! We come to Cuchara every year for family reunion and will definitely try to rebook for next year! Thanks Chris!

This is such a comfortable cabin! Make sure you plan for 30 minutes to get to the cabin from town and another 30 to get back into town. You will feel like you are visiting at your friends house! It is so laid back and beautiful. The mosquitoes are definitely thick but get a Thermacell and that will help. Enjoy being out away from everything and unwind. We had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin! It’s super family-friendly and perfectly located close to the town and ski lift making it easy to explore the area. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need, including a full kitchen for cooking and a grill for outdoor meals. The washer and dryer were a huge convenience for our stay. The peaceful surroundings and cozy atmosphere made it a perfect getaway. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Red River!

What a beautiful place. The cabin is plenty big for a large group and has great space for entertaining. There are more beds than you can count and everything was perfect. Our family was amazed and loved everything about the cabin. It is located at the end of a road and surrounded by private land. The property is perfectly remote and located in the most beautiful area of NM. We saw deer and elk on the property daily. I can't tell you enough great things about this place. Highly recommended. We will absolutely be back!
