Tranquil & Lovely Cottage in Minstead, New Forest.

Our cottage is set in a peaceful corner of the village of Minstead, in the heart of the New Forest. It is a Victorian farmhouse overlooking fields with some beautiful original features and has been in our family for over 60 years. It comfortably sleeps up to 6 people with a large mature garden, perfect for families, friends or even couples. It's so tranquil here, hardly a car goes by, but you will see ponies, donkeys and cows roaming up the lane while the wild forest itself is 10 mins walk away.

The Old Sir Walter Tyrrell House is a 4 bedroom detached property situated in the beautiful countryside of The New Forest National Park. Sensitively and sustainably saved from dereliction, it is now a luxurious place for friends and family to relax. The main house sleeps 8 persons,if you are a group of 10 there is also an adjoining, totally self contained cottage,ideal for parents, grandparents, aupairs or anyone looking for a separate space for a further 2 persons (at a small additional cost)

Romantic barn with kingsize 4-poster, fire, bikes

If you are looking for a romantic escape in the New Forest, just a short walk from the pub and open forest, then look no further. Situated in the grounds of an impressive country house, the Goat Shed is the stylishly renovated ground floor of a 19th century barn, with a kingsize four poster bed, claw foot bath and woodburning stove. Deer roam through the gardens, and our wood burning stove makes nights in perfectly cosy. A great spot from which to explore the forest, or simply relax in comfort.

The Finches, at Acres Down House, New Forest

The Finches is nestled away in the grounds of Acres Down House, in the heart of the New Forest. With stunning views and direct access to the forest, it’s the perfect place to relax, walk and enjoy the great outdoors. With woodland all around you, there is every chance you will see some of the most beautiful animals right from your window. Not forgetting our resident, new forest pony, Artex, who is always happy to welcome new guests. Acres down is a known area for birdwatching and wildlife.

The Old Dairy in the New Forest

The Old Dairy is a quaint studio cottage in the New Forest. The one bedroom studio was once the old parlor room for the dairy. With lots of original features such as the old brick chimney breast and wooden beams. This is perfect for a couple who want to come away to explore the forest for a few days. Equipped with a kitchenette for small meals with fridge microwave and single induction hob it also has a shower room. Set on our 70 acre farm which you can explore with fresh farm eggs daily.

Built in 1840 to house workers making bricks this charming extended semi-detached cottage has been lived by the same family of New Forest commoners for the last 50 years. Recently tastefully refurbished to a high standard, STRIDE Cottage is a much loved comfortable family home which maintains the character of the traditional New Forest cottage whilst offering spacious, modernised, comfortable living. With direct access to many forest walks, spend your days walking, cycling or just relaxing and watching the horses graze in front of the cottage. Its directly across from a great local pub, The Swan Inn, where you will get a warm welcome from Sybil and her team. Great for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

New Forest Large Shepherd's Hut with Stables

Beautiful, large Shepherd's Hut (20' x 12') in your own peaceful, private space between the garden & the fields - perfect to explore the New Forest. Bring your walking shoes, bikes & horses. Beautiful place for artists, yoga and meditation. There's a stream for you to go and sit by and you can often see deer in the fields next to you. Sit by the firepit and listen to the owls. More ponies, cattle, donkeys wander down the lane past the house than cars. An idyllic escape.

Private 2nd floor flat in New Forest

Kings Garn is a privately owned house on the edge of the village of Minstead in the New Forest and set within 5 acres of gardens. The accommodation is a 2nd floor flat (self catering), is perfect for families (no children under 12), couples, friends and can accommodate up to four guests in three bedrooms. It is a great base for all types of breaks/holidays - walking, cycling, golf, touring and site seeing. No commercial bookings & no children under the age of 12.

New Forest cottage by the green

Bramblings is in a magical position, at the edge of Lyndhurst, on the green and just over the cattle grid. It is just a short walk in to Lyndhurst for restaurants, cafes and shopping and there are great walks and cycling direct from the house. Remember to keep the gate shut whenever you are coming and going as the ponies, donkeys and cows are free to meander just outside and they are always keen to help themselves to the greenery in the garden.
