Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, a stone’s throw from the market square of historic Stow-on-the-Wold, this 16th century Barn conversion is perfectly located to explore the Cotswolds. We have recently renovated the property (2022/23), ensuring that the cottage retains its rustic charm in keeping with its history, but with all the contemporary comforts. Travelling with a larger group? We have another cottage just next door, which sleeps a further 6 guests.

Slow down and recharge at The Old Smithy. Built about 600 years ago, this Cotswold stone blacksmiths forge has been transformed into a cosy retreat for two. Kingham is a highly sought after village in the heart of the Cotswolds. With a wealth of brilliant pubs and wonderful countryside walks on our doorstep, you can bring your dog along to enjoy too. The Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit, are a short walk away. Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and Bamford club a longer walk/short drive.

Our lovely cottage is in a peaceful location with private parking, 5 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and tea rooms in Stow. Well behaved dogs welcome. (small charge ) The cottage has 2 double and 1 single bedrooms, a family bathroom and an additional WC downstairs. The private terraced garden is accessed from the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and all utensils required. WiFi is provided and a Smart TV in the lounge with NETFLIX.

Box Cottage is a beautiful little detached stone cottage in the north Cotswold Village of Broadwell. Only 1.5 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold and located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is a great base for walkers or couples just wanting a relaxing holiday. The Cottage is very well equipped and has its own 'secret courtyard garden' for guests to enjoy. The local Pub - The Fox serves excellent food and is only five minutes walk away.
